I found this location to be an oasis just outside the gates of the main part of Chiang Mai. Very easy to get to and from the old city, but in a local neighborhood that felt more authentic. Their breakfast were delicious. Their service was extremely helpful. It was quiet there at night and the pool was a little cold, but the in room massages, bar, and location were really great. We had planned to move to a different hotel closer to the city and we ended up staying here because it was so great!
The hotel was beautiful and had the most comfortable bed I’ve experienced in Thailand.
My husband and I booked two nights here & loved it so much, we can’t wait to come back next time we’re in Chiang Mai. The rooms are beautiful, clean and smell divine. Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere quiet to unwind in the city.
La chambre était magnifique ! L'Hotel en lui même était somptueux, un service de qualité dommage quil sois éloigné du centre ( 30 minutes du night market ).
Chambre propre.
Salle de bain spacieuse disposant dune douche et dune baignoire.
The accomodations were excellent. Staff was amazing and attentive
STAY HERE! You will not want to leave.
From the moment you drive through the
traditional entrance and greeted by
the giant elephant statue you know
you’re home. Everything for comfort,
we reserved a pom with a four poster, the bathroom is glamorous; breakfast
everything desired; in the evening the chef will prepare special requests, vegetarian, vegan, European and exquisite Thai, just ask. The staff are very kind and friendly and do their best
to help make your stay a marvellous
experience. I am notorious for ranking hotels and changing rooms and even
hotels. The pool and spa are are relaxing and to my absolute delight walking through the hotel looking across the pool, here be naga!
I was enchanted.
Nantaram is a charming, green, leafy area away from the busy city streets yet easily reached by their free hotel transport, as is the airport. Nantaram Wat is a 14th C. temple with a golden spire next to the hotel,. We didn’t really need to go to the city except to visit the world class AstroPark and astro dome show and telescope thenreturn to Nantaram Road and the
quiet bliss of the Nampiangdin.

The rooms at this hotel are lovely and really big - as is the bathroom. The surrounds within the hotel are also really nice (pool etc).
Reason for not giving this 5/5 is that the majority of staff are a bit grumpy and have a lack of English (I appreciate I’m in Thailand but it gave us 0 confidence for booking trips etc through the hotel).
Secondly the breakfast is really poor. No milk alternatives (strange at a hotel who are marketing themselves above average) and not a great selection on the buffet.
Lastly, it is a little out of town but we knew this when booking!
Very nice and clean room, very spacious. The area is quiet and a bit away from everything. The view from the balcony was quite uninteresting, but overall it was a lovely hotel - we would probably stay somewhere within walking distance to more things next time.
We had a great stay at Nampiangdin Boutique Hotel. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast options were quite good and the pool area was fab for relaxing, our room had doors that opened directly onto the pool which was convenient. The location of the hotel was good, with free airport transfers provided and only a short, cheap Bolt ride into the main square. Ample water and toiletries were provided. We had a lovely stay and thought the hotel was great value for money.
Nice hotel, room was gorgeous well appointed and clean. The linens were top notch. The location is within a short walk to the walking street and restaurant. Staff was very helpful in helping with taxis etc... on the negative side, hotel is in a neighborhood where we were awakened by barking dogs and ealy morning vehicles. The pool was too cold to use and the pool decking was in poor shape.
The staff and the management were extremely friendly, great food, amazing location. Pool gets sun for the entire day overall no complaints. Would definitely recommend it if your coming to phuket during the dry season.
Very fine hotel. Rooms are very nice for the price. Beds are voluminous and comfortable. Bathroom is spacious and clean. Pool looked nice but I did not go in. Did not try the breakfast which did not look particularly good. The hotel is away from the main touristy stuff, but within walking distance or a short grab ride. Highly recommend as a quiet oasis.
Beautiful Boutique Hotel in a great location, also within easy walking distance of the old town. It was that nice we extended our stay and we are also now heading back there again before we leave Chiang Mai. I can't recommend this hotel enough. A must if you visit Chiang Mai!
This hotel is exceed my expectation.
Pros:
1. Check in was within 5 minutes. The front liner was very helpful. My guide asked them to peel mangos for me. And they did that right away.
2. The room was a bomb! I love it so much. It was decorated in Lanna style. Feel like i was stepping back in time.
3. Bathroom was spacious, love the smell of the shampoo and soap. Hairdryer was great.
4. I paid both for breakfast and dinner. And i had no complain about it. I had crispy pork belly for dinner, and sticky rice, pork skewer, salad, pastry, orange juice, tea for breakfast. A feast for my belly! Love it alot.
5. Best thing was they provide free shuttle to the airport. The van was Hyundai and it was awesome. The driver (i forgot his name) was great as well.
Cons:
1. There was no lift. Thankfully the staff help me with my big luggage.
2. The location was a lil bit secluded, in a tiny street.
But i will stay here again when i visit Chiangmai. And recommend you guys to do so.
Very good hotel with nice decor,Look beter than picture.if anyone looking for good place to stay in chiangmai selecte this hotel,
First time stay in this place.all decor look good.this is better than what you pay.
Strongly recommended this hotel
They were very accommodating! Very kind and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay here!
From start to finish a wonderful experience. Just the most beautiful hotel with so much character and wonderful friendly staff. Highly recommended. Also close to the old city Center. Great value for money as well. Definitely returning next time in ChiangMai
Beautiful little hotel just a 5 minute taxi ride from the airport and a 10 minute walk to the historic town center. We were not sure what to expect as this hotel is 3 stars, did not have many reviews and is a small hotel - much different from the resorts we had booked for the rest of our travels in Thailand. Very glad we booked here as it is a beautiful little hotel with amazing rooms, a incredible garden setting, with lovely traditional architecture and very good service. it was our honeymoon and they had decorated our bed in roses which was a lovely touch. I recommend having lunch or dinner at the hotel as their Thai dishes are amazing and we had one of our best meals in Thailand here :) The tuktuk service is very convenient to get to the old city and markets and the front desk staff are very helpful when it comes to booking tours for you. It is only a ten minute walk back to the hotel or a short taxi or tuktuk ride back. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for an affordable hotel with excellent service and traditional architecture.
