This was our second stay at Peri’s ,named after the son of the owner. A true family business that has a tendency to grow on you and is certainly the most authentic Greek accommodations near Athens Airport that you will find. It’s clean and functional, an oasis in a suburban area
of Athens. You will get a personal pick up and delivery from the airport and may have to wait a while but the enlightening conversations you can have with the owner or staff are worth it. Peri’s has a magical arrangement with a very fine but locally run restaurant on the sea and the restaurant will pick you up and deliver you home. The food is excellent and an excellent introduction to Greek cuisine if you are just arriving. If you have a soft spot for cats ( ubiquitous in Greek restaurants) so does the kind-hearted owner. He has adopted local strays and somehow they are all very well mannered and unobtrusive, fun to slip a few scraps to during the basic but nutritional, well executed breakfast.
We’d go back for sure if passing this way again. Good old fashioned value for your Euro. Te owner has extensive hospitality experience and credentials.
Peri’s hotel is a very charming, smaller family run hotel. Theodore, the owner/manager, and his staff are very helpful, friendly, with an excellent sense of hospitality. This sharp looking smaller hotel, with a park like setting, is in a very nice open residential area with a country feel. We enjoyed a nice 1.0 mile walk to the Aegean Sea, passing several supermarkets, restaurants, and numerous shops along the way. Taxis are also readily available, and some restaurants provide free round-trip service. The hotel is in a very quiet location, rooms are a nice size, with patio or balcony. The upkeep is very good, not perfect, so I gave it four stars. Likewise the bed was comfortable, softer than my preference, so also I gave it four stars.
I was quite surprised at how fresh and good. the breakfast was. Ours featured a hard boiled egg, slices of cheese, slices of bread and sweet bread, orange juice, and tea or coffee.
Staying at a nice family owned and operated hotel like this is a really nice memorable experience, and I highly recommend it.
Nice room , staff was polite and gave some ideas were to go eat . They provide airport shuttle. It’s just a nice place to stay and it’s near the airport .
Great staff. Friendly and helpful. Good location near airport and near waterfront. Property is cute boutique style hotel. Safe property. Airport shuttle was a big perk!
The hotel staff was very accommodating and it was a very positive experience for us. Breakfast in the garden was an added bonus.
had some slight issues with the shuttle, but overall it was great! Breakfast was simple but good and filling. I can’t get over how good this Greek yogurt is. Walls are thin and you can hear a lot but nothing some white noise wasn’t able to cover. Shower had great temps and my room had a balcony so was able to have some fresh air and breeze in my room.
We had a nice big room with a balcony, where we ate a little dinner & watched the sun set. The small, locally owned hotel was perfect for the first and last nights of our stay in Greece. They picked us up from the airport & took us back. We are especially grateful that they were able to get us to the airport early on October 1, 2025 just before the taxi strike started. Peter, who is one of the drivers and who works the front desk, is jovial, kind, patient and quite helpful with local recommendations as well as ideas for our next visit to the islands. It’s close to the airport, so not very close to the city center but that didn’t affect our plans, just a heads up. Thank you to everyone at Peri’s for a lovely beginning and ending to our holiday.
Property is looking worn. Driver was late picking us up from airport. However they went out of their way to get us to a restaurant for dinner & back.
Room was fine bathroom too small only two towel’s. Service provided was way beyond our expectations however security was a little lack.
If you just need a bed for the night close to the airport, then this hotel is okay. The bed is comfortable, and the water hot. But it’s very dated, and in need of some maintenance. If it wasn’t for the included airport shuttle, we wouldn’t have stayed there.
Communication and airport shuttle were great. Property was further from airport than I thought and quite run down. Luckily we were only there a few hours but couldn't sleep due to conditions.
Pick-up and drop-off excellent. Hotel basic but comfortable. Staff very friendly and accommodating.
We only stayed the night we arrived in Athens so that we could get out to the countryside in the morning. Overall we were taken care of and had no issues. My main comment is that the building seemed fairly dated. Our shower had very little water pressure which was kind of a bummer after 26 hours of traveling but we were still able to get clean and sleep a bit while we adjusted to the 10 hour time change.
Garden was beautiful, the hotel condition tired and not too clean, bedlinen and towels torn and stained. Free driver to and from airport great and to restaurant which served delicious food. Staff friendly and accommodating.
Staff were very nice, with shuttle and breakfast provided.
Property needs serious upkeep. Pictures and comments do not reflect the property at its current state.
Owner was understanding of our complaints which was appreciated but I would not recommend this location.
Nice place to stay for 1 night before catching a plane at the airport.
Was ok for what was required. Unfortunately when the fridge closed all the tiles above it
This hotel is in a depressed area of the city. Everything is dusty and dry. A good thing was that the nearby restaurant offered transportation to and from their place where we had a good meal. The hotel needs a lot of maintenance, a remodel, an upgrade and a cleaning. We couldn’t even see out the windows.
Great people.
