Very central location you can walk to main attractions. Staff are excellent and always willing to help. Organised cars to airport through hotel.

Decent location and pleasant room, over-priced for the quality
Pros:

Room was large and had a good view (the whole hillside below Darjeeling, the roofs on the slopes below this level). View is a matter of luck - not all rooms of the same type have the same view - in our group, the other person's room did not have a very good view.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The bathroom was basic.

Corridors had a musty smell.

They played "elevator music" early in the morning through overhead speakers in the corridors, and even audible inside the room - we found it a disturbance. When asked about this, the reception staff said it was normal to have this music on.

The breakfast buffet was a reasonable variety of Indian items (poori, uttapam, dosa, idli, maggi, paratha, etc.) but the quality was so-so.

Not a four star hotel
Pros:

The location and friendly behaviour of the staff. The breakfast was nice.

Cons:

The most disappointing part is that we expected a four star hotel and we got at most a two stars.
The rooms were not properly cleaned (we found a lot of hairs on the floor, for example), towels were missing both when we arrived and the second day (after we came back we had to wait one hour before we could take a shower). Overall, there is very little attention to details. It's not worth the price we paid.
