Terrible place to stay
Pros:

This place was terrible and so was the service in the lobby. The rooms are not very nice even though we were told they were remodeled. I had a suite about 900-1000 sqft. The bathrooms were old, smelled and the shower was cheap and had an old bath tub in it. There was no Spa on the grounds, no room service, no bathrooms close to the gym so when you were working out and needed a rest room you had to travel 2 floors to get one. That made another long wait for the elevator to get to you as they are always jammed packed. Evlevator wait time in the Sheraton could be up to 10-15 minutes both ways. It’s crazy. Only one restaurant and it was fair but limited menu and always a line to order for the pool. Took 40 minutes to get 3 fish tacos. Terrible hotel, very surprised Bonvoy treated clients to this kind of sub service. Never stay here again

Great location, horrible amenities and service.
Pros:

This is in a prime location in Waikiki and the reason we chose this resort. But we will not stay here again. The activities hut is a joke- every morning he has a sign out that says they’re sold out of beach chairs and umbrellas. Yet, there are empty chairs on the beach as well as tons stacked against the wall. He also wouldn’t rent a surfboard to us, not sure why. It was better anyways since we rented by the day at a local shop in town. But what is the point of an Activity hut if they won’t do anything? We have travelled all the islands in Hawaii and this was the most disappointing resort- the service is not very good and is over run with clueless tourists. We just prefer classier resorts and better hospitality.

Beautiful Resort, Pool, Amenities we were on the 12th floor on a corner suite and absolutely loved it, will return. Staff was not the friendliest, they were very strict and kind of rushed us in the front desk, other than that SOOOO Happy!

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Waikiki offering amenities for couples and families.
Pros:

Location, pools and direct beach access. Room type matched our request. Appreciated toothbrush and toothpaste. Liked being close to other hotels. Included pool chaise chairs were plentiful though full. But that happens. Lei making and ukulele sessions were fun. Liked the shops, especially Honolulu Coffee.

Cons:

I didn’t realize complimentary newspapers were available. Also, I think robes and slippers should automatically be placed in the room.

All about the pool!

Sheraton Waikiki Beach Resort
Pros:

There are many choices for resorts/hotels in Honolulu. I have stayed in many of them; however, my first overall choice is the Sheraton Waikiki Beach resort. Number one reason is the location. The Sheraton is situated right in the middle of everything and on the beach side. you can easily walk everywhere. Waikiki beach is at your back door, don't need to cross the street to get to the beach. The service is outstanding! The infinity pool is the most relaxing and beautiful spot in Waikiki. Rooms are clean and neat, over-all hotel was very neat and clean. Rum Fire restaurant has a wonderful menu and views of Waikiki beach and Diamond Head, live entertainment, seating inside and outside.
I would highly recommend the ocean front Diamond Head view room, lower levels. Rent a cabana chase lounge for the day at the infinity pool, pool service available. Also, visit the Royal Hawaiian next door and Moana Surfrider, all three hotels share, dinning and pool privileges, nice perk.
I will continue to make Sheraton Waikiki my go to when visiting Oahu.

My forever Waikīkī hotel
Pros:

Stunning view, beautiful and convenience property. Been there twice and never want to go anywhere else. Amazing pool on the beach, plaza right on the lobby area. Walking distance to anywhere. You can book excursions at the lobby of the hotel. Sand day tour are available. It always make sad when I had to leave.
