Location was perfect! Close to beach, shops and restaurants.
Our bathroom was dated. Even though we upgraded to the towers for beach views.
Location, parking, view
Noise from neighbours. Large gap under door. Connected rooms could hear and smell the other rooms
Celeste at check in was really sweet. She grabbed my son a toy bag and he played with the toys all week. Rooms are a tad dated (was in princess wing - there is a new wing btw with brand new rooms) but this is genuinely good value. You are steps from the beach (Moana Surfrider directly across). You are literally right smack dab in the middle of everything but without having to pay beachfront prices. Want to walk to the royal hawaiian? - 2 minute walk. I went in five different hotel pools and this one was the warmest (84 degrees). If you are platinum elite or higher, you get a good breakfast (hot or cold). They call it continental but it’s better. They had a frittata eggs, bacon, and a warm croissant with juice or coffee included at no charge. I’d come back here again. Staff is great.
The location in the middle of Waikiki is excellent. I like that the hotel is set back so much from the street with the main entrance on the side street. The pool area is large with plenty of lounge chairs and food and drink service. The restaurant provides 'dinner' service as well as casual service near or close to the pool. I enjoyed the well-prepared food and varied menu. I had breakfast there almost every day; dinner twice and pupus several times. The drinks are well-made. I didn't partake of the games area, but it was offered. My grandson went to the gym most days. Every employee was super. They are helpful and went above and beyond expectations. They can't do enough for you. The room with a mini-fridge was small, which I knew it would be, but clean and adequate for two people. The lanai was a bonus. Part of the lobby and later the bar were undergoing construction, but didn't affect things in a negative way.
I was not disappointed by anything at the hotel.
Our housekeeper was just extraordinary — 3 three times she went out of her way and went “above and beyond” to help me have a great vacation.
Soon after arrival, I was in the hallway struggling to figure out how to close my room door behind me — and she came down the hallway and patiently explained how the Door mechanism worked.
Her name was Zeni or Zebby I think.
Then returning from my two hour adventure over at the beach, I was in the hallway near my room but I had forgotten the exact room number and started to go to the front desk. She saw me. Remembered my name., and took me to my room.
Then the following morning, when I was leaving to walk down the street, she saw me leaving and walked over and asked me if there was anything that I needed. I asked for one clean towel.— then she came in and gave us fresh towels and emptied the bathroom and room, trash cans.
She was extraordinary!
The property was very clean and organized. , the gal at the front desk (Kaori) went above and beyond, so much Aloha , it was an unforgettable experience! This Sheraton has a huge game room with , pool table, ping pong, fuzz ball and plenty of board games… fun for the whole family
Location
Fees, fees and more fees. It cost us an extra $500 a day on top of what we already paid. Absolutely unrealistic and unaffordable
My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights on our recent trip to Honolulu. We absolutely loved the place due to the excellent location across the street from Waikiki Beach. It is walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and malls in the area. The room was sufficient with a decent view of the pool. We can't speak for the restaurant in the hotel because we did not eat there but the service was incredible from the front desk to housekeeping. Joy from housekeeping made sure we had everything we need every morning we were there and made the stay much better than it already was. We would return here on a future trip to Honolulu.
Was great location, friendly staff and great service
Nothing
Location very central. Room’s size excellent. Great water pressure. Superb view. Loved the daily water bottles. And great to have an empty fridge for milk and fruit etc.
Bed was good, pillows were awful. The only thing we can fault.
