Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Waikiki Beach

Location is perfect for us. I’ve stayed in this hotel for about 4 times and love ❤️ it. Staffed are super friendly, our cleaning lady Elizabeth is so kind and friendly.

Hotel location is very convenient, for the beach, shopping centers, local bus stops

Great down town Waikiki location, best valued hotel in the Bonvoy family on the Island.
We have enjoyed many properties on Oahu over the years, each has their own unique offering. The staff added to the whole experience at the Princess. From the warmth at reception with Celeste representing the Sheraton brand so well accommodating our every need at check in with so many personal touches, to the wait staff, we were made to feel special for our anniversary.
Our room had amazing views over the water but its the common area that makes it feel like your own Hawaiian home. It tells you something when you see the same staff members over a decade joyfully working at the property.
Well done princesses.

Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Waikiki Beach, great hotel right in the centre of the action on Kalākaua Ave Waikiki.
We stayed a week and booked direct via bonbon Marriott app.
We found it the most reasonable priced and cheaper direct. So I’d sign up and see what you get.
Our flight arrived late and when we arrived our room was ready.
Bryce on the front desk was amazing and knowledgeable regarding everything the hotel can offer.
I’ve noticed other reviews say the rooms were noisy and to be honest yes , we found ours noisy that said it’s an older hotel
On one of the busiest strips in Waikiki so people are enjoying themselves people want to show off their cars and bikes and street performers are entertaining the crowds.
We were in a renovated room and were a family of 4 , we found the bathroom small for our needs but made the most of what we had.
The room was spacious enough and neat and tidy.
We spent our days between pool, beach shops and day tripping.
The team by the pool handing out towels were very friendly and are an asset to the hotel always greeting guests and up for a chat.
So in summary for us , we had been to Waikiki several times and found this hotel the best value for our money.
The resort yes it’s old but so are others, staff were friendly and the room we had renovated partial ocean was great value.
Being in the centre of Kalākaua Ave made it easy walking to all the bars and restaurants.
But if you don’t feel like walking the strip the in house bar - splash bar had a great menu and great happy hour options.

If your undecided on where to stay in Waikiki if your never been or been several times.
Give this place a go you won’t be disappointed.

Rooms are good, every evening live-music and just a few meters to Waikiki beach. Breakfast is also good standard. Restaurant has limited options but around the hotel are plenty of dinner-opportunities.
I want to mention Bryce from the reception, who did an outstanding job in sorting out a problem with a booking that I screwed up. He helped me a lot and despite other tasks at the same time he stayed patient and found a solution for my prob. Well done, thank you!

We had a great stay at the hotel with a lovely room that had an ocean view. The stay was also made more memorable by Henry on the guest bell staff. He was talking to my wife who mentioned we were in Hawaii for my 70th birthday and when we returned from our tour of Pearl Harbor we found a very nice cooler bag in our room with local snacks and also a card for two speciality drinks in the hotel bar. It’s when you receive service above and beyond that makes the whole stay more special and memorable. Everyone we have met here has been great but Henry by far represents the hotel with class and exemplary service.

When I arrived in Hawaii, my dog was unexpectedly placed into quarantine due to an airline error. I was exhausted, heartbroken, and in tears after an awful day. Thankfully, I was booked at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani — and that is where everything changed.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by one of the kindest humans I’ve ever met, Kianna. She looked at me and immediately assured me that I was in good hands. That reassurance alone meant more than she’ll ever know.

All I needed at that moment was a glass of wine and a little compassion — and I received an overwhelming amount of both. Julia and Nicole took the time to truly listen, offering comfort and empathy when I was completely undone from being separated from my dog. Their kindness felt more healing than anything else could have been in that moment.

Then there was Jason, who went far beyond what anyone could ever expect. He became a true friend. On his day off, he insisted on picking me up at 7 a.m. to help rescue my puppy from quarantine. Words truly cannot express how much that meant to me. It was one of the most selfless, compassionate acts I’ve ever experienced from someone I had just met.

I’ve now been here for two weeks and realized I couldn’t leave without making sure Sheraton knew what extraordinary humans they have on their team. These individuals didn’t just provide service — they provided humanity, comfort, and genuine care when I needed it most.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I will never forget the kindness shown to me here.

Close to everything, lovely Staff, great pool and comfy beds.
