Gefyri Hotel

First time at Gefyri and I would go back in a second. Staff was awesome ! Location to the town great , next to the famous Konitsa bridge. Parking was easy.
Mr Thimios at the desk was a pro making sure everything was to our liking.

Delightful cozy hotel right next to the picturesque bridge Breakfast was delicious and it was fun having an outside bar

My recent experience with Gefyri Hotel was disappointing, to say the least. I booked two rooms online through Expedia, intending to stay in May. However, due to an error on Expedia's part where the booking was processed for June instead of May, I quickly realized the mistake within minutes of booking. Immediately, I contacted Gefyri Hotel to request a date change or cancellation.

The staff's response was incredibly frustrating. They were inflexible and unwilling to accommodate my request to modify or cancel the reservation, citing their policy without any empathy or attempt to find a solution. Their communication was curt and unhelpful, leaving me feeling disregarded as a customer.

While I did not personally stay at the hotel, this experience with their staff left a sour taste. Their lack of customer service and unwillingness to assist under these circumstances reflects poorly on their professionalism. It's clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority at Gefyri Hotel, as they prioritized policy adherence over basic customer courtesy.

Based on my interaction, I cannot recommend Gefyri Hotel to others looking for accommodations in Greece. Their handling of this situation was disappointing, and I advise potential guests to be cautious when booking with them.

This hotel offers excellent value for money, combining comfort and cleanliness in a unique location. The rooms are well-maintained and cozy, and the staff ensures a pleasant stay. We really enjoyed it! Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

Nestled atop ancient plane trees, our stay in this cozy treehouse was pure magic. With the soothing river melody and gentle rain, the ambiance was enchanting. Dining among the treetops was a culinary treat, each dish a delight. Crafted with finesse, the treehouse seamlessly blended into nature. In summary, our time here was a serene escape, perfect for nature lovers. Highly recommended.

Booked a family holiday with 3 children under 3 years. We liked the idea of this hotel as it states in booking.com and other sites that there is an outdoor children’s area, which there was not….there was mould on the duvet and sheets as well as all over the walls and open plug sockets. VERY dangerous and unhealthy for children. A all day cafe restaurant is also advertised, but this is not the case. There is no cafe/restaurant open at the hotel. Unfortunately I do not recommend especially if you have children it is very poor quality.

We got to stay in their treehouse! It was clean and had nice views. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. We had 2 meals here and they were delicious, too. I would stay here again.

A very good hotel in a lovely location by the river and the bridge from where it starts the walking path to saint Paisios monastery....Very nice room for family and very clean (every day cleaning the room) ...Staff were very helpfull and breakfast was ok (all the basics and some more).....the best was the restaurant that was unique and also the pool especially for the kids....it is about 1.8km from the center of Konitsa....it could be cheaper but we reccomend it

We had a great time at hotel Gefyri. Swimming at nearby river Aoos and then having cocktails by the pool! Food at the Bistro of the hotel is excellent - we tried fresh trout and local pies. Rooms are spacious, clean with nice view.

The Gefyri Hotel is located in the most beautiful setting, it has a very friendly, relaxed atmosphere and brilliant evening menu
