Sufficient for what we needed

Clean and Location, But disappointing overall
Pros:

Hotel was clean and the staff was extremely courteous and friendly at all hours of the day and night. Good location for the Arena district and convention center. Hotel was quiet. Plenty of hot water.

Cons:

Bed was extremely uncomfortable. No support at all. Odd layout of the lobby means that you cannot use take a luggage dolly from your car directly to your room. You need to transfer everything from one cart to another because of steps in the lobby. They do help you with that, though. There is no parking and no breakfast at the hotel. Parking is either via valet, at a fairly steep pricetag or blocks away at private lots (Price depends on how far away. 10 minute walk to a lot with in and out privileges). Food comes by way of a bistro in the downstairs area of the lobby. Nice atmosphere but pricey and limited. Just felt lacking for the price.

Nice downtown hotel
Pros:

This is a decent hotel with attentive staff. You have to go up a set of stairs to get to the elevator because this is an historic building and they couldn't alter it to put in lower floors. They have a plaque explaining the history which is interesting.
The room was comfortable and quiet. They didn't seem very busy.
Breakfast is weird. We received a coupon for one tall drip coffee and one breakfast item. They have free coffee available but not decaf. They made me a decaf coffee and it seemed we could have pretty much anything on their breakfast menu. It's essentially a mini Starbucks. But why not have a carafe of decaf coffee like other places do?
We parked at a lot down the street for much less than they were charging.
This is an easy walk to the sports complex.

Would stay there again
Pros:

Great location and staff. Room clean and comfortable.

Cons:

At check-in we were charged an amount as a deposit for eventual incidents. The bad thing is that we weren't informed about it beforehand. At checkout the amount was returned with no problems. We just wish we'd been informed that it'd be necessary during the reservation.
