size was ok but room was stuffy not sure if air con was on correctly.
It’s location was perfect for us. We were able to easily walk to other areas other than the CBD.

The staff are welcoming, easy to get someone to valet park the car. They upgraded us for free as we requested an upgrade and it wasn’t available so they upgraded us to a Skycity view which was nice.
Pool closing at 8pm for kids. Also stating I need to pay upfront to anything else I wanted - I’ve always paid once checking out so it was awkward conversation. The rooms are small.
This is the 3rd year in a row my wife and I stayed at the CORDIS Auckland and we both feel this is no longer what they advertise…..a 5 star hotel. The cleaning staff needs much better training…….we are usually gone most of the day and when we came home one day after 7 PM ……..no one had cleaned our room…..no new towels….no toilet paper or tissue. When we called housekeeping they said they would bring it right up….and after another follow-up call it arrived a half hour later. The very next night it was 5 PM and still no one had shown up. Very frustrating because most people are washing up and getting ready to go to dinner and to have to call up looking for fresh towels or toilet paper….is not worthy of a 5 star hotel.
When I spoke to the hotel manager (Mustafa Bandukwala) about how frustrated we were with the situation upon leaving…..he had his assistant give us a card good for a wine or beer……but no spirits or specialty drink. This was kind of insulting in lieu of the fact we have spent close to 30 nights in this hotel over the last 3 years.
One other thing that bother us was the overall pool experience. Most of the Chaises have bird crap on them and your left to clean them yourself. Many of the side tables have sticky stuff (ketchup, drinks, etc) that have not been cleaned in awhile. Which leads me to the most disturbing thing……many young kids 5 or 6 year olds unattended as well as babies in diapers with their parents in the hot tub. I wouldn’t use it if my life depended on it.
Don’t think we’re coming back for a 4th year….
Came for dinner with my big family. Molly was awesome, helped us out and made us feel welcomed/comfortable. Lovely to see another brown face :)
Good location and friendly staff
Good breakfast
11'check out although we received a 12 pm
We were upgraded and the room was spectacular with views over the city and harbour from floor to ceiling windows. Marble bathroom and very thoughtful extras. Beds were so comfortable too.
Nothing. It was amazing
Complimentary snacks and drinks in the pinnacle rooms and the large rooms and bathrooms
Pool was very busy, adults hours should extend to 10am.

My partner and I had a lovely Valentine's High Tea and the service was exceptional with the staff being very attentive. There was an abundance of good food and our experience exceeded all our expectations.
3 massages, came back 3 times in 2 weeks. Everything was incredible. Friendly staff that were very welcoming, great sauna, steam room, and pool. They reserve time for adults at the beginning and end of the day, which was appreciated.
Absolutely loved this hotel. We were given a complimentary upgrade with the best views over Auckland, beautiful room and thoughtful amenities. Cocktails by the pool in the evening sun were magical. The staff were wonderful, especially the valet parking staff. Brent, your positivity and service was fantastic
Spacious clean room, excellent views, good bath and shower. Club lounge was very good, not too crowded, courteous service, wide variety of food and drink, Lovely afternoon tea.
Comfortable bed
Everything was perfect
As always great staff, very clean room and good breakfast. We were upgraded to the executive suite which was a real treat. Totally fabulous. Thankyou so much.
Nothing
Not worth it for whatever price it was charged at.
1. AC was very warm in common area, and in the room it fluctuates throughout the night, makes it a horrible night's sleep, we wake up in sweats both nights there.
2. The bottle labelled 'conditioner' is actually shampoo, and we called to ask them to change it, they didn't, even after room service the next day.
3. Body lotion is old, it's all chunky, they should really be checked and replaced, I unscrewed the bottle to try and use it but it's all chunky and the grooves are all full of dry, old lotion, that's very gross and should not be like this for any reputable hotels.
4. They threw our paper bag (that we paid for), that we left on the counter above the fridge, when there's a bin next to it, with our new single use cutleries inside, which is not very logical, considering I would throw things I want to throw in the bin.
