It was a good experince
Pros:

Room was clean and spacious

Cons:

1-The AC system was noisy and even when we turned it off, there was ongoing noise from outside of our room/building over night.
2- Mattress and pillows were too soft, especially the mattress.

This place must itemize what is included as breakfast on the Booking.com reservation
Pros:

Check in, Parking, Pool, Gym. The overall ambiance of the hotel is very nice and spacious. The restaurant is very spacious.

Cons:

Room was smaller than I remembered. Breakfast was somewhat complicated. It was included in our reservation but somehow the staff did not provide information on what was included with our reservation when we were seating. Also, not much of an explanation if the breakfast self service or buffet. The staff was overwhelmed. I had been at the same hotel a few years ago and I had a wonderful impression of the breakfast. This time, I have the impression that I have not been served what I had paid for because of the lack of proper staffing of the breakfast area.

The facilities were very nice. The fitness center was much larger/more extensive than most.

Cons:

Coffee is provided downstairs until 10:00am. Highly recommended that this time limit be extended!

Clean room bad linen service
Pros:

nice lobby, decent large room

Cons:

the pullout had no bedding. Front desk took a while to bring bedding. had to bring 2ce did not bring top sheet or blanket. The linens were highly wrinkled.

Lovely staff, clean rooms, but skip the food; scent sensitive folks beware
Pros:

Let's start with the good things. All the staff were great -- friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had everything I needed. The gym is pretty well equipped. The hotel common spaces were attractive. It is steps from the UVM campus and was walkable for meetings I had, so it was very convenient. Ok, now for the less good: If I were to stay there again, I'd entirely skip the food. The tavern has lovely staff who provide great service, and it has good beer -- but the food is terrible and is massively over-priced. Ditto for the breakfast. Bring your own food or eat elsewhere for a better value. Lastly, the truly bad: The reason I am not likely to stay again relates to the scents. The sheets are washed in a perfumed detergent, which many Americans feel smells "clean." For me, it is like poison. It gives me a headache and makes feel unwell. It stuck to my clothing and followed me home. I stay in plenty of hotels that use unscented detergent and I sure wish this was universal. I mention this because some people get very sick from scents like this and it could derail their vacation stay.

WE would stay here again in the future.
Pros:

Staff was friendly and helpful. It was clean, comfortable and the bonus for me was the coffee ready and hot at an incredibly early time in the lobbby area. The coffee maker in the room did not work but with coffee available in the lobby I actually preferred. . Thank you!
