Wonderful stay
Pros:

Perfectly located off the highway but only a short drive into the city. Welcoming and friendly service. Clean and updated room. Beautiful atmosphere. Perfectly priced. No loud noise inside or outside. Excellent amenities.

Very Disappointed in this hotel
Pros:

The hotel has just been renovated. Rooms are good but the rest of the hotel was dirty. The public bathrooms needed cleaning . The carpets in the atrium and hallways needed to be vacuum. The areas by the pool - floor was wet and the elevator nearby was also wet - made for slippery conditions. This happened all day long and every day of our stay. The parking lot has dips and big pot holes every where and needs repair. We ate at the bar one night and the bar top was dirty (had to clean it ourselves) and with only 1 bartender working on a Saturday night - we had to wait for service. Our service was mediocre. They ran out of cookies Friday night - I waited 2 hours for cookies and they did not show up. After waiting 2 hours, I asked the front desk and they said that the kitchen was way, way behind and that they will come out "later". How could a doubletree hotel run out of cookies and not repleish - after all they advertise that they have warm cookies!! This hotel is unable to provide you with a bill that matches up to the dates of your stay. As the front desk explained it to me - they bill 24 hours behind because the audit does the billing at midnight which of course is the next day. Never hear of this before. This is not the typical double tree hotel that I am use to staying especially paying the high price for the room. This hotel needs help.

Pros:

Staff was exrtremely good, welcoming, warm and responsive. My room was beautiful, the view was pretty. I appreciated the decor and the luxurious bathroom. My bed was very cozy and comfortable. The complimentary warm cookies were AWESOME.

Cons:

The HVAC was loud and I couldn't turn the fan off. So when it was on, I felt like I was in a cold wind tunnel. I had to raise the heat to 75 before I finally felt comfortable, but then I woke up in the middle the night hot and uncomfortable.

Enjoyable relaxing stay.
Pros:

We found out that we might need to check out after only one night instead of staying two-when we told our check in person, she told us to let them know in the morning and it would be no problem. And it wasn’t. Also the delicious warm cookie was wonderful welcome.
