5-Star Hospitality, 5-Star Stay... The best sleep I've had in years.
Pros:

The room was sensational. It was so private and quiet, exactly what I wanted for my birthday staycation. The bed was excellent, and linens were soft. I loved that the TV supported chromecasting so that I was free to practically watch anything that I wanted. It was just the most relaxing night, I slept like a log. I felt so taken care of and at ease. Staff were polite, greeted me wherever I was. I felt right at home.

Cons:

The screaming children splashing around in the pool was less that satisfactory. I understand children are staying in the hotel, but it was a disturbance that surely impeded upon me and other guests. I ordered room service, which arrived at my room with speed, but I was instructed to leave my tray outside my room for collection. 12 hours later... the tray was still there, despite countless housekeeping teams in the hallway. When you're paying what you are to stay in a 5 star hotel, you expect little things like this to be taken care of. It wasn't just my room either, room service trays littered the hall. The shower pressure was quite low and controlling the lights was a bit difficult, but really clutching at straws here to find things I didn't like. It was an excellent stay.

This did not feel like a JW Marriott!
Pros:

Very centrally located, easy access by walking to mayor attractions

Cons:

Our room hallway was always dirty, spilled coffee by elevators and cups left on tables for days. Our room cleaning was bad especially the bathroom. The breakfast area was not well staffed , buffet items were cold and any requests for specialty coffees took forever.

Wonderful surprise - huge room
Pros:

Incredible room with lots of space and wonderful large bathtub

Cons:

View was of buildings under construction with workers looking into the windows. The curtains didn't close all the way so there was some light that leaked through during the night.

Pros:

The room was luxurious but for the price definitely not

Cons:

Staff said they would upgrade us as we booked last minute and spent $800 for the night due to another host letting us down.

The staff didnt upgrade us to a better room and when I wanted to get something from my vehicle I waited almost over 30min and ended up asking the person looking after the parking myself to get mt keys.

Overall was good. But i wouldnt stay again, would go elsewhere i think. Cheaper and better breakfast

Bed was comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Breakfast. I thought the food was really poor. The bacon was dry and I just thought overall it was below that of comparable hotels such as the hilton and other hotels I have stayed at in the cbd which offer Breakfast. I would not add Breakfast on again. I also thought $800 for my room was steep considering what it was compared to other rooms I have stayed at of similar quality.

Pros:

The room itself was clean and comfortable with good amenities. House keeping staff were great. Reception staff not so much.

Cons:

Thin walls. We were woken up by music from the roo next door. Check in felt incredibly rushed. No explanation of where to find the facilities, what time check out was. We were already made to wait an hour before checking in.
