The room was luxurious but for the price definitely not
Staff said they would upgrade us as we booked last minute and spent $800 for the night due to another host letting us down.
The staff didnt upgrade us to a better room and when I wanted to get something from my vehicle I waited almost over 30min and ended up asking the person looking after the parking myself to get mt keys.
Bed was comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast. I thought the food was really poor. The bacon was dry and I just thought overall it was below that of comparable hotels such as the hilton and other hotels I have stayed at in the cbd which offer Breakfast. I would not add Breakfast on again. I also thought $800 for my room was steep considering what it was compared to other rooms I have stayed at of similar quality.
The room itself was clean and comfortable with good amenities. House keeping staff were great. Reception staff not so much.
Thin walls. We were woken up by music from the roo next door. Check in felt incredibly rushed. No explanation of where to find the facilities, what time check out was. We were already made to wait an hour before checking in.

Getting through to reception via phone takes ages.
Asked for a room service coffee and it was like they had never been requested room service before, disorganised and useless service. Four phone calls later and I didn’t even receive the coffee before I had to leave.

Location was great. Room size and friendly staff. Front office manager Kristina was great. Also waiter Heskeet was exceptional.

The room was spacious and clean. Location is excellent. Trivet restaurant was a highlight.
The experience at check-in was disappointing. The staff was not especially friendly. Drinks were offered to other guests at check-out but not to us. The man with glasses at check-in came across as particularly cold and unfriendly. Room cleaning was inconsistent. On 2 occasions, we returned to our room after 5.00 pm and found it hadn't been serviced. We had to request cleaning. We had lunch at the Forum bar but unfortunately the food quality was very poor and poorly presented.
