The breakfast was expensive for what includes, the room and the furniture are not for 6 stars Hotel.
Pros:

I liked the location and the Nile view, but the building is looking quite old.the control of the traffic at the front entry of the hotel needs adjustment, as it takes so long to pick and drop guests.

Service was excellent and I would like to specifically like to mention and commend Belal, the waiter. His friendly, quick service and attention to detail made my breakfast experience pretty awesome. I would also like to commend the staff who cleaned my room and for going above and beyond when they managed to get my leather boots cleaned after a day’s trip to the Giza Pyramid Complex.

Cons:

Not much to say except the smoking policy in one of the downstairs lounges, which was super comfortable, but always had a Smokey smell. i wish the entire hotel had a no smoking policy - then again its probably just me…

Splendid Hotel with worn-out rooms!
Pros:

Location is perfect! Well connected and in a busy and lively area.
The View from the room is spectacular! Amazing!
Staff were always helpful and smiling, ready to help anytime.
Room is well-equipped with all that you need and more!

Cons:

Room is old and needs renovation.. starting from the broken sockets and card pocket that fell to the ground once i tried to place my card going into the room.
Terraces were worn out and without any seating. I can see some of trash next to my balcony on the edges of the building facade.
Elevators need re-programming. I could easily wait for 10 minutes for the elevators to understand i am calling.. sometimes with all of them just frozen still in their place..
My expectations were shooting for the stars for the sole reason of paying a hefty bill. This made my expectations for the experience become higher than the average 5-Star hotels.
