I never review. I felt compelled to. It’s 1:35 AM. I have called the front desk 3 times as there are 4 loud individuals next door and the walls are paper thin. I can hear every word they are saying. I’ve heard stories verbatim, down to details about heavy periods.
Front desk says “we cannot do anything. We can send you ear plugs.”
Strongly recommend avoiding this hotel at all costs, if you need to sleep. There are better options next door. (Sonesta, Hilton). I have several recordings but can’t post videos to website. I can share with TripAdvisor or Hyatt at any point. Ridiculous.
The hotel was clean, very convenient location for our conference and the market, and the staff was great. The restaurant had good food and even gluten free options.
I was impressed with the staff and the comfort of the hotel. The staff I interacted with were all so nice! They had everything well signed to so it was easy to find places you needed to go.
Very well kept
Had to walk through a cloud of smoke to get to the front door
The rooms were large, clean, and comfortable, making it a very pleasant stay. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the conference center, which made attending meetings incredibly easy. It’s also within walking distance of many great restaurants, so there were plenty of dining options nearby. Overall, a very convenient location and a comfortable place to stay.
Close to convention center
Exceeded expectations. I recommend a high floor city view. We also left an item behind and housekeeping was very responsive and let us know they found it immediately.
I was very impressed with the Hyatt Regency in Columbus. Service was excellent. Staff was attentive and called me by name. A maintenance worker needed to make a repair in my room, apologized for the inconvenience, and took care of the repair quickly. I saw him in the lobby the next day and he again called me by name and asked about the repair work. I was very impressed.
The customer service here was exceptional in all areas! Front desk, concierge and housekeeping were always on point. I loved the text messaging with the hotel for immediate response. Overall it was a wonderful stay.
Proximity to event
Confusing for self parking
I appreciated the quick check-in before parking the car in the parking garage.
The elevators are not working in the garage.
Our stay was great, walking distance to the venue, hotel was clean and had everything was perfect. Like I said in my previous comments, Luca at the front desk was a highlight of our stay.
From beginning-to-end, staff were welcoming….room was clean and comfortable….and the over atmosphere was elegant.
The room was fine and, although I was very happy to be permitted to check in early, they assessed a $50 fee for doing that. That’s not the best way to impress a guest on check-in. The room was made up the first day, but not the second day. And I do have to say that I almost went out to purchase toilet paper because the stuff they supply in the room was the thinnest toilet paper I have ever seen (see picture). The dining options are very poor – the atmosphere in the two restaurants/bars on site is somewhat tragic, and there are no real restaurants around—you have to walk several blocks down High St. before there is any commercial activity. I did not have to interact with the staff very much, but they seemed quite friendly.
