Thank you Hyatt! My favorite hotel in Chicago!

We stayed at Chicago Hyatt Regency for one night while we were in the city for an event. I'm very glad we did. This Hyatt became my favorite hotel in Chicago. We were treated extremely well. We had access to the Club Lounge and it had a nice view. I will definitely be back! Thank you Hyatt staff.

Globalist Gem Along River and Near Everything!
Pros:

I can’t say enough about the Hyatt Regency Chicago. The location was ideal, right near the river walk, walkable to Millennium Park, Navy Pier, Magnificent Mile - perfect spot. As a globalist I was really pleased - there is a nice regency club but in addition we received free breakfast at the restaurant in the lobby which had a terrific buffet with many choices. Staff were consistently friendly and attentive. We were upgraded to a view of the river which I appreciated since the hotel was packed that weekend for an ABA conference. The staff was really helpful ahead of time when a flight cancellation pushed our trip back a day. We also received a 4pm late checkout which was offered to us at check-in. (Yes, I know I’m entitled to it but it was nice to receive it up front with a smile instead of on the last day with some hesitation or uncertainty.). Because of the $25 food credit after 5pm we gave the lobby restaurant a try one night and really enjoyed it - in particular my son loved the brisket. The valet was easy - just make sure you understand how to get up and down to lower east Wacker because your GPS will get confused. Hotel gym was great and was big enough to get a good workout in on a busy Saturday mid-morning. I also liked the lobby a lot - big and open and bright, with a good buzz. I would love to come back here again.

The hotel for Lollapalooza festival
Pros:

Will book Hyatt Regency again if we are going to Lollapalooza 2027.

Very happy with our stay and its location. Very friendly and helpful staff everywhere, at the front desk, customer services, cleaning staff, the club lounge, and waitpersons at American Craft Kitchen.

Pros:

we decided to go here instead of the black stone because it has a better location. we got there after our check in started. we had booked 2 rooms next to each other in the same tower. they had 1 room available when we got there in a different tower to the one we booked. the other room we had to wait an hour and half for in a different tower. we purposefully chose room together and they weren’t helpful. this wasn’t a last minute booking, we booked months ago. they wouldn’t offer an upgrade or any discount. over $500 per room per day this is ridiculous. we stayed previously at a hotel in ohio and it had the same showers and quality of room as a much cheaper hotel. moreover, if you check out early or late it’s a charge but for no reason they can make make us wait however long. go to the black stone or hilton just not here.

Perfect location, great staff, comfortable room
Pros:

My wife and I stayed there so it would be more convenient to see the Ben Folds/Grant Park Orchestra at Prizker. Very convenient location for events and restaurants in the area. The front desk people were fun to talk with! Very comfortable room with king bed.

Location-Staff-Property All Outstanding!
Pros:

Having been to Chicago many times for business, this was our first stay at the Hyatt Regency for a short vacation. The location is perfect to access all of the Magnificant Mile in an easy walk. The hotel was incredibly busy with a large convention and Lallapooloza but you'd never know it from the highly efficient staff in every aspect of the hotel. Our room was spotless with an amazing view of Lake Michigan. The Regency Club was the perfect place for early morning coffee or a quiet cocktail at the end of the day. Every staff member was pleasant & helpful despite how crazy busy it was. Will defintely make this our go to location in Chicago!
