We had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Regency Dallas. Even before we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by email from Michelle Tagovailoa, the Guest Experience Manager. I mentioned that I would be traveling with my 3-year-old daughter, and they were incredibly thoughtful and accommodating.
We were upgraded to a spacious terrace suite, which was perfect for our family. When we entered the room, we were surprised with a handwritten welcome note and some sweet goodies waiting for us — such a thoughtful and personal touch.
Throughout our stay, we were treated with genuine respect and care. As Globalists, the checkout process was seamless, and Michelle ensured all eligible charges were taken care of, which made the experience even smoother.
Overall, it was a truly memorable trip, and I highly recommend Hyatt Regency Dallas for their exceptional hospitality and attention to detail. We will definitely be back!
I stayed here back in August 2025 with the TFS event as this was the designated host hotel, and rooms were pretty affordable under the block. I stayed here in 2022 and was excited to come back. Prior to arrival, I was impressed; the hotel had reached out to ask if there was anything they could do to make the stay better. The staff over the texting service were friendly too. Unfortunately, my stay here was a rollercoaster with notable highs and frustrating lows. Parking is offered both as self and valet; I opted for self as it was only $10 for the group compared to the normal $30. It was a partially gated surface lot with no covering; I don’t see any justification for this pricing other than that there isn’t any other lot nearby. The hotel is also very close to the Dallas prison, and as far as I could tell, the lot was unsecured, which did not instill confidence. The check-in was pleasant, and Noemi was friendly and efficient. My requests for a higher floor and a nice view were granted as well, which was nice of them. The executive floor plan was nice and large, and everything was in working order, and was very clean, though the room was clearly dated, and there were plenty of signs of visible wear. The wood on the desk and nightstands were warped from years of use, and the bathroom looked tired. The mattresses did appear to be new though, and the linens were very nice; the AC also worked very well. The soundproofing was very poor however between rooms, and there were times I could clearly hear my neighbors having a quiet conversation. If you stay, I recommend asking for a room without a connecting door. The elevators worked very well in the tower and despite the convention going on there was never a long wait. My dining experience was by far my biggest disappointment, however. The host at centennial seemed to hate her job and was pretty rude, and Alexis, although very friendly, did not inform me that extras would be an upsell on the menu. My burger was very disappointing; the patty was far thinner than that of what you find at McDonalds and couldn’t have been more than 3/8 an inch thick. I also found the portion size to be very poor for $20. It ended up being cheaper to doordash over food from nearby than dining onsite. Breakfast was also rather lackluster for the price charged, and the buffet was quite limited for the price. Ty’Mari was incredibly friendly and helpful in providing information and getting some extra amenities to the room. At check out, not only was Bailey very dismissive of my comments on my stay, but no offers were made to assist me in departing, even though my hands were clearly full, and most 4-star hotels would offer that service. Overall, this hotel seems to have changed for the worse in the past three years since I was here last, and I would recommend staying elsewhere unless your conference is at this hotel.
The view
The beds and the covers in the rooms where not pleasant for the price we paid to stay
I attended a conference held in the hotel. The room was a pretty typical business room, done well. Good workspace, well-done bathroom, spacious. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The conference food was outstanding, particularly considering the number of people to feed. My only complaint is that the air conditioning was too high in the lobby and conference rooms. Bring a sweater.
It was an amazing experience! From start to finish the hotel was nice and accommodating for the convention! Definitely recommend!
Exceptional experience! The rooms were impeccable and the service was truly marvelous. We dined at both on-site restaurants and were very impressed with the quality of the food. Honestly, the value for money is phenomenal. I highly recommend it!
Breakfast was overpriced and tasted terrible, TV could not connect any console or Fire TV stick. The Valet took almost an hour to retrieve my vehicle.
Hyatt is a great place to stay! We went for a dance convention. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean! We couldn't get our key card to work when parking and had to pay for it to get out. The front desk was more than accommodating and made sure to make things right.
Hotel muito bom e confortável
Ar condicionado muito forte
Location was amazing! It was located downtown right outside reunion tower which gave us great vies from the 23rd floor. The atmosphere was lavish. The rooms were great. We got a deal through Costco and the value was well worth the price. Emeka at the front desk was amazing. He instantly looked for ways to impress us and he did. We got free room upgrade with great view and champagne! We got a happy birthday song because it was my birthday weekend. He made it spectacular and worth the return if we ever want to stay downtown again.
