Very nice and close to so much !
We were told we’d have a harbor view but it was wharf at best
Location
Stair access was mostly always locked. Works were being done to fit new escalators which will solve that issue.
This location can't be beat. It made for a very easy trip to Boston with direct access to the T, walking distance to great food / drink, next door to the Aquarium, and beautiful views of the harbor.
We were there just before the 4th of July. The hotel was doing a bit of construction---the escalator was out. This made it a bit inconvenient (and crowded after fireworks) but not detrimental to the stay.
The pool is small and indoors but nice. The connected veranda is gorgeous. We spent a few hours reading with views of the harbor.
Room size is standard. We did have to call for enough towels several times (we had 4 in the room and they only stocked 3 towels)
Starbucks on site was great for mobile ordering breakfast.
The daily charge with a hotel credit was annoying in that you could only use it at the very expensive restaurant. If we could have used it at the Starbucks or snack shop, it would have been fine.
All in all, it's pricey. But the location made for an AMAZING trip.
We spent our nations 250th Birthday in the wonderful city of Boston. The cities celebration did not disappoint. This property is so well located for walkable touring. Beautiful harbor views with lots of activities just steps away. The hotel property is well maintained; the rooms were very well appointed and clean. The beds, linens and pillows were very comfortable. The design of the hotel with a center atrium makes the hallways a bit noisier than most. It does quiet down as the night wears on. The biggest inconvenience was the out of order escalator. It required every move to be made by elevator. They did move fast and ultimately it worked out fine. The Starbucks in the lobby was handy and a great morning stop. The hotel restaurant has great seating but mediocre food. The lobby also has comfortable seating options. We were very happy with our choice of this Marriott and would recommend it to friends visiting the beautiful city of Boston.
Everything !
The starbucks inside the facility was horrible rude staff & did not make any drinks correctly
Great location and staff!
The escalator was under construction
Yeah, you’re going to sacrifice your right arm to pay the bill at this place, but for a special occasion, it’s probably worth every penny. The hotel is close to everything and looks out over the harbor. It also feels safe. Just as importantly, all of the services we experienced were commensurate with the luxury theme. We were here for our 35th wedding anniversary and I’d love to return sometime, but I may have to save up for another 35 years.
Close to all transportation, all excursions, walkable to many sites. Only drawback is the cost of parking at the hotel. Would recommend parking across the street at another garage.

The construction noise early in the am.
Great location, comfortable room and super helpful and attentive employee team, both in the hotel and the on site restaurant. Christalis and her front desk colleagues had help or the answer for every request or question. The onsite gym/fitness room also was pretty good.
