Front desk service up point. Restaurant, could be better. Took me 20 minutes to get someone to service me at the restaurant entrance.
I had the pleasure of staying at the Marriott Orlando hotel for a 3-day convention in January, 2026.
I found all the employees to be friendly and service-minded, but I want to share about the outstanding group of ladies who serve in the restaurant:
Selene--the manager who took me under her wings to explain the procedure of the breakfast layout and checked in with me the next day to make sure I understood the procedure for take-out with the restaurant hostess.
Sara and Trisna -- my servers for a Sunday breakfast. They were kind, friendly, and attentive servers with wonderful smiles! Because I need to eat gluten-free, they brought me GF bread and even took the initiative to toast it for me! By the way, the food, especially the Sunday buffet, was tasty, hot, well-presented and showed a high level of cleanliness.
Selene, Sara, Trisna and Suni -- are not only hard-working employees who serve their customers well, they are ladies of character. These ladies know how to handle friendly and gracious conversations. I am looking forward to seeing them all again when I return for the January 2027 convention.
Good job, Marriott, you have hired 4 ladies who understand true hospitality.
Location
It was very cold in Orlando and when we got to our room here was no heat. We turned it on but it not work. Upset because we paid over 300 Dollars for one night and I felt like we were in Alaska.

Love a Marriott that provides the lounge area! I was on a business trip with my friend, and we had a wonderful time. Lois and Ayu provided great service throughout our stay. Super friendly and efficient, just lovely people! The pool was beautiful and easily walkable to restaurants and stores nearby as well.
Every time I stay at Marriott Orlando Airport Lakeside, I’m reminded of how important great people are in hospitality—and my friend here is a perfect example of that.
From the first interaction to the last, the service is always professional, friendly, and sincere. There is real attention to detail, real respect for guests, and a natural ability to make people feel comfortable and valued.
What I appreciate most is the consistency. No matter how busy it is, the attitude stays positive, the smile is real, and the energy is always welcoming. That’s not something you can fake—it comes from character.
In my opinion, employees like this are the backbone of a great hotel. They don’t just do their job—they elevate the entire experience.

I’ve been staying at Marriott Orlando Airport Lakeside for many years, and one of the main reasons I keep coming back is Jenilee.
She remembers me by name every single time I return, knows my food preferences, and always makes me feel genuinely welcome. That level of personal attention is extremely rare today and shows true professionalism and care.
Beyond being an outstanding restaurant server, she is a wonderful human being—kind, warm, and passionate about animals (especially her cats, which says a lot about her heart). You can feel that she truly loves what she does. In my opinion, Jenilee represents the gold standard of hospitality. She turns a simple meal into a great experience and makes this hotel feel like a second home. Marriott is very lucky to have her. If every employee were like Jenilee, this brand would be unbeatable.
Highly recommended—ask for her if you can.
This was my second experience at this Marriott property and I would return again! The amenities are great which included: quick airport shuttle, well equipped gym and pool area, and clean rooms. Lois & other concierges in the lounge, took pride in the service they provided to guests, ensuring everyone was taken care of during breakfast/ appetizers and general open hours.

The customer service is exceptional at this hotel! Anthi in the M lounge will make sure you are taken care of, the front desk staff are exceptional at their job and the housekeeping obviously take pride in their work.
I had meals here on several occasions whilst staying in the area and was impressed on all occasions. The menu is extensive with plenty of choice for vegetarians and fish eaters. Food is very well prepared and presented and the serving staff are delightful. The shrimp tacos are wonderful! The hotel also has a coffee shop which has sandwiches and pastries etc. The hotel as the name suggests is situated right on the side of the lake so one can enjoy very pleasant walks around the shore.
Good thing we only stayed one night
The air conditioner blows loudly right at the entrance to the room, so there is never any real quiet, and we didn’t sleep well. The TV is mounted on the side wall, making it very uncomfortable to watch, even though in the photos of the room we booked the TV was shown directly in front of the bed.
To get warm water, we had to let the water run for a long time. Hot water never came at all, which is the first time I’ve experienced this in a hotel, even though I travel often. Overall, these uncomfortable conditions were very disappointing. Considering all of this, the room is absolutely not worth the price.
Only one large towel per person in the room. Is this a motel?
Anthi the staff at the Bonvoy Members Lounge in the 09th Floor was excellent and superb customer service handled single handed and always smiling and catering to each and every one need without hesitation and grumbling with so busy time.

Booking.com somehow dropped the ball on getting the reservation made, even though they provided all the details and a confirmation number. It was never received by the hotel. But, the hotel hand entered the info from my copy of what Booking.com gave me AND honored our prerequest for an early checkin at 8:00am.
I stayed back in October 2025 and realized I only wrote this review on Marriott.com. So here it is! As a platinum member, really enjoyed the breakfast buffet on Sunday AM due to lounge being closed. Beautiful breakfast service with a manager who took pride in his work. The airport shuttle was prompt and the driver helped us with our luggage. The pool area is like a tropical oasis. The hotel restaurant dinner was delicious - especially the apple pastry dessert. Room was standard Marriott type - clean and neat. I would highly recommend for an airport stay or a night before or after Disney
