Wonderful stay @ Marriott hotel with room for improvement in certain areas
Pros:

We stayed for 4N/5D in Cairo Marriott in Jan end. We wanted to stay in zamelek area , so we chose Marriott.

Pre-Checkin Experience: 5/5. Very prompt in answering all the queries. Emailed us about our arrival and check-in time

Check-in Experience: 5/5. Mr. Mina from the front desk gave us a free upgrade and ensured our stay was comfortable

Food : 4.5/5. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, the variety of the spread was great with the quality of food very good. We had dinner two nights and we enjoyed the Japanese noodles and continental varities.

Room : 4/5. Large spacious rooms but old and outdated. No issues with plumbing or electrical. How ever, the mattress wasn't firm and climbing onto the bed it a task by itself. Only one charging point which was ridiculous. How difficult it is to provide an extension box.

Housekeeping 5/5. They loaded us with enough water bottles. Room was cleaned everyday properly. They got an additional suitcase stand without asking and arranged our luggage in order.

Hospitality: 4/5. People were polite, helpful and the security staff help with guiding people. The front staff in the breakfast section wasn't welcoming though, not even a smile.

Safety : 5/5. We felt safe walking around the huge property with so much security staff at every corner

Property : 4/5. Very huge property but renovation was going on and some parts weren't maintained enough. Not enough signage to ATMs.

Service in the breakfast area : 2/5. Only let down, they are absolutely clueless. It's Chaos. We asked them to set the table, they didn't understand. We asked them to add table cloth, cups, cutlery, they said they will do, but never did. We approached some 5 people, before we ourselves took the cups and cutlery. You ask for anything , they will say yes, but never come back with it. This really needs to be addressed.

Barring the breakfast chaos, no charging sockets and renovation work in property - we really enjoyed the stay and will consider staying here when we visit Egypt again.

Шел ремонт бассейна, он не работал и не было предупреждения. За день до нашего отъезда начался ремонт в коридоре к ресепшену. Не смоги пройти с чемоданами к выходу. Тащили вещи по лестнице

Wir empfehlen das Hotel in jedem Fall weiter. Für Ruhesuchende lieber ein Zimmer zur Gartenseite.
Pros:

Hotel mit Hoteleigenem Park mitten im der Stadt. Uns hat zudem die Palastatmosphäre im innern des Restaurant und Lobby Trackts sehr gut gefallen.

Cons:

Der Frühstückraum bietet das grösste Potential für Verbesserungen nach Oben und ist punkto Qualität bei der Ausstattung, Atmosphäre und bei der Konstanz beim aufmerksamService im Vergleich zu den anderen Einrichtungen des Hotels etwas abgefallen.

Un espacio de relax en el centro de Cairo.
Pros:

El hotel está construido en un antiguo palacio de arquitectura llamativa e impecable que resalta mucho en la zona central. Los bloques laterales que se construyeron después no tienen una estética tan conseguida pero mejoran las vistas cuando te colocan en habitaciones altas.

El personal fué tremendamente agradable, atento y servicial. Con unos espacios para desayunos, comidas y cenas realmente espectaculares. Y un servicio de SPA con masajes realmente increíble.

Cons:

Los baños de las habitaciones se podrían modernizar un poco. No soy muy fan de las bañeras para ducharse y la poca altura que ofrece el teléfono de la ducha. A pesar de que las ventanas de la habitación son muy buenas Cairo es una ciudad bastante ruidosa y algunas habitaciones con vistas al Nilo también dan a una carretera muy transitada que puede resultar algo ruidosa para dormir.

Die Lage am Nil ist super. Man kommt mit einem Uber schnell überall hin. Ganz in der Nähe kann man einkaufen und Essen gehen. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich, fähig und hilfsbereit. Das Essen ausgezeichnet gut, das Hotel Ambiente traumhaft. Definitiv DAS Hotel in Kairo. Gerne wieder.

Pros:

Upon arrival at 1:30 am we weren’t really greeted and had to venture to the lobby. The hotel is very large and was under some renovations that weren’t listed on the website upon booking. The main lobby is very pretty (the old palace section). The rooms were a little tired and had some mold in the shower and sink area. No complaints on the smoking smell. Was very beautifully decorated for ramadan and really liked the location.

Très bon séjour. Nous reviendrons assurément lors de notre prochain séjour au Caire.
Pros:

Chambres propres, de merveilleux petits dejeuners avec une grande amplitude horaire et une grande réactivité du personnel sur place. Nous avons très bien dîner dans les restaurants de l'hôtel.

Cons:

De grandes dfficultés pour faire une réservation par téléphone.
