After a long Alexandria - Cairo - Luxor visit we had back to Cairo for our flight to home next day and had a spared one night and early morning while I was checking for what to do I decided to book a 5 star hotel as had some extra budget left for vacation, and booked Marriot as it was our Honeymoon trip I mentioned it to them on messages, they did not say anything but when we arrived we had a complementary upgrade, cake, lovely congrats notes, fruits and roses with balloons around as a surprise. Marriot quality! All staff very helpful, happy, good energy, rooms are clean and perfect, combination of modern needs with historic, antic rooms and furnitures, Palace section has to be seen one time in a life, breakfast perfect garden and pool very good. Casino not that good though, workers are not very polite, machines are mostly feels like fixed to make you loose, live games are better

Experience a ne pas manquer.
Pros:

Hotel tres confortable bien que certaines choses pourraient etre ameliorees car un peu delaissees comme les rideaux, le seche-cheveux, des cadres de travers....mais il s'agit d'un hotel ou on se sent bien.
Le parc est bien entretenu, le personnel est tres gentil et competent, l'hotel en lui meme est magnifique. La piscine, le spa et la salle de gym sont tres agreables et tres propres. Le linge de maison egalement, la literie est tres confortable. Tres belle vue sur le Nil.

Cons:

Mis a part certains details que j'ai deja mentionnes plus un peu de poussiere oubliee depuis longtemps sur le devant du grand meuble, je pense que la qualite de la nourriture pourrait etre amelioree, surtout quand il s'agit de plats typiquement locaux. De plus, les fruits et salades de fruits du petit-dejeuner ou pris dans les restaurants de l'hotel etaient vraiment de qualite inferieure, sauf les mangues.
