I checked in for one night on business and received such a warm welcome from Precious and Voster. They handled my booking perfectly — always calm, professional, and incredibly helpful. Bright at the bar was friendly and professional as well, and made some great smoothies 🍹

My dad and I stayed at the InterContinental Lusaka for 12 nights, travelling from London, and we honestly had such a lovely experience from start to finish. It truly felt like a home away from home.

The rooms were very spacious, extremely quiet, and incredibly comfortable. We had the best sleep every night. After busy days out, it was always a pleasure to return to such a calm and relaxing space.

The location of the hotel was excellent. Perfectly placed for getting around Lusaka and close to everything we needed, making exploring the city very convenient.

The restaurant had a very good selection of food, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Scholastica, who greeted us every morning at breakfast with the biggest smile, made each day feel special. Arafat, Susan, and Gabriel also provided wonderful service throughout our stay.

The pool facilities were great, and our kids really enjoyed spending time there, it was a perfect way to unwind after a day of sightseeing.

What really stood out most was the staff, who were all incredibly friendly, approachable, and genuinely caring. Special mentions to Grace at concierge, Molly in front office management, Voster on the front desk, Theresa and Chipo in reception, and Ernest the doorman, who always greeted us warmly. There were many other team members whose names we unfortunately can’t remember, but everyone consistently went out of their way to make us feel welcome and well looked after.

We also had the pleasure of going on a tour around Lusaka with a driver named Godwin, who went the extra mile in arranging access to sites around the city. He clearly has excellent contacts and made our sightseeing effortless and memorable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the InterContinental Lusaka and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or recommend it to anyone visiting the city. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable.

Everyone was kind from the reception, also especially triza from the restaurant was very helpful towards service delivery.

The breakfast was very good, lots of variety and freshly made juices and pastries.

Excellent check in by Doreen and Chipo. I got upgrade to junior Suite for being IHG Diamond. They also delivered a fruit platter to my room. The location of the hotel is perfect and close to shopping and major businesses. I enjoyed the executive lounge happy hour with excellent food and drinks. The breakfast was also good with fresh squeezed juices. Great service from Malkama at the executive lounge.
