The Tequendama Hotel is the grand-old-lady of hotels of Bogota. It is a classic and has kept up its reputation throughout the decades for cleanliness, large-sized rooms, impeccable service, and a great buffet breakfast spread. It has all of the amenities one would expect from a high-caliber hotel such as this one. It was an excellent experience.
The water pressure in the shower could be a little stronger.

Alles was eigenlijk boven verwachting. Goed hotel, prijs/kwaliteit is top en ligt niet van toeristische attracties. Zeker aan te raden om hier te verblijven.
Enige opmerking die ik heb is dat bij het ontbijt de jus d'orange watterig proefde. Gelukkig is er meer dan genoeg andere keus.

The only positive aspect was the breakfast. Diverse and with extremely friendly staff.
The facilities are very outdated, with the hotel and rooms looking like they came straight from the 1970s - far from a 5‑star standard.
The bedroom had a strange odor, and the bathroom also had an unpleasant smell, almost like mold.
The hairdryer began releasing smoke when used, and one of the electrical outlets emitted a constant beeping sound, forcing me to cover it with a pillow to sleep.
Overall, maintenance and safety conditions were well below expectations.
Conozco el Hotel Tequendama desde que era niño, siempre ha sido fabuloso. Es elegante, clásico, y completo. Está perfectamente situado cerca del centro histórico y sobre las avenidas más importantes de la ciudad. El desayuno es generoso.
