I could not find a place to stay for the flower festival and was able to book here and they were very nice.
Many things in the room were broken.
The hotel was extremely dated. The check in was difficult. There was not anyone who could speak English well
Night to communicate. I would have expected that from a 5 star hotel. The room was dirty- sheets were stained, bathroom air con was leaking in to the floor, conditioner bottle was empty, couch was dirty. The pool was nice however it was difficult to get service at the pool. The hotel needs a lot of renovations and service updates. I overall would not stay here again given the other choices in the city.

Pagamos por club level y fue una gran decepción. El desayuno privado era extremadamente limitado. El omelet llegó quemado, el pan era duro e incomible, y todo estaba al aire libre, sin mucha higiene. Lo único rescatable fueron las empanadas de carne, jugo de naranja, la pitahaya y las bebidas embotelladas. Recomendamos mejor bajar al desayuno general: tiene más variedad y mejor calidad.
Un empleado del club level nos dio muy mal servicio todas las noches. Pedíamos hielo y nos respondía con mala actitud, como si molestáramos. Además, dijo que todo era “gratis” y por eso limitado, lo cual es falso ya que pagamos por ese servicio.
Las cenas incluidas también fueron una decepción. Si no ibas a las 7 pm, ya no había opciones disponibles. Cuatro noches seguidas solo escuchamos “lo siento, no hay”. Hay una clara falta de comunicación entre cocina y meseros.
Quiero reconocer a Viviana y Roxanna, dos empleadas del restaurante que nos trataron con amabilidad y profesionalismo cada noche. Se esforzaban por ayudarnos a pesar de las limitaciones.
Aparte de eso, nunca nos saludaban al entrar al hotel, solo nos miraban de arriba a abajo. En el piso club siempre nos pedían el número de habitación, aunque no se puede acceder sin tarjeta. El servicio fue lento, la comida tardaba hasta dos horas para que te dieran toda tu comida.
No volveríamos. No vale lo que cuesta. Hay mejor servicio en los pueblitos. No puedo querer que esté es un hotel de cinco estrellas, se siente de dos estrellas.

facilities is good, only problem is the room is not clean, dusty everywhere.has to put more attentions on that.
Despite renovations underway, the property was beautiful and the staff fantastic - particular thanks to Jovenal, the tennis pro - great instruction and time on the courts - I highly recommend!
The hotel is excellent. A little outdated but there’s an ongoing remodeling that will surely make it like new. Excellent friendly staff.

We chose to stay at an Intercontinental Hotel because I know that it is a standard good service and attention, unfortunately it was not the case in Medellin. They did not help me with the upgrade, they could only allow us 2 people when I made the reservation for 3. There was no hot water, we had to be calling everyday for it and after the housekeeping service they didnt change towels, we had to call and wait forever for them to bring new ones. Colombians are happy and attentive people, it was reslly a not pleasant stay.
