Location
Room was badly worn and in need of repairs
Clean
Overly complicated breakfast setup.
Location! Safe, fun, happening place in convention area. Starbucks downstairs.
I was very disappointed in our experience here.
My husband and I are at the Marriott members and I feel like we got put in the oldest room in the building.
The room felt very empty, the floors were sticky and we got a view of concrete.
Normally I wouldn’t complain about these things if I had gotten a cheaper room at a cheaper hotel, but we splurged a little on this trip and wanted to remain loyal to Marriott.
The gym was insanely small and the front desk laughed when I asked about any other kind of parking options.
Just a negative experience overall and we didn’t feel welcomed.
I rarely leave reviews, but this stay at the Anaheim Marriott Suites was unacceptable from start to finish—especially traveling with children.
I stayed for five nights and experienced ongoing issues that were never properly resolved despite multiple requests:
• Refrigerator did not work (I have a toddler who needs milk stored safely)
• Bathroom plumbing issues (clogged toilet and shower)
• Microwaves not working on multiple floors
• Ice machine consistently empty
• Excessive noise and disturbances, including teenagers knocking on my door and running away
• Housekeeping left my room door open, which is a serious safety concern
The most alarming issue was a non-working smoke detector in my room for the entire stay. This is a major safety violation under California Health and Safety Code 13113.7. I reported this multiple times and it was never fixed—even with children staying in the room.
The hotel did offer a room change, but the only available option had no working AC, which is completely unreasonable given the heat and my children’s health needs. Another room was offered only hours before my departure—far too late to be a real solution.
To make matters worse, I reported these issues again at 2:00 PM on my last day, and by 2:00 AM the next morning, nothing had been fixed.
The hotel offered only two nights of compensation, which does not reflect the reality of enduring these conditions for the majority of my stay. I have also reported the safety violations to local authorities.
This experience fell far below Marriott standards. Between the lack of urgency, unsafe conditions, and poor resolution, I will not be returning.
I strongly advise families, especially those with young children, to reconsider staying at this property.
I reported this issue to the front desk staff and the supervisor Laura Hill, who were unable to provide any solutions other than apologies.
Also, there are no microwaves in your room and with small children that need bottles warmed this is completely unacceptable.
Parking fee is $25 nightly
Staffing shows clearly since the time I’ve entered that they did not care.
DO NOT STAY HERE - Especially not in 310
The location
The staff
3/23/2026 - The Anaheim Marriott, comprised of three buildings with a total of 1,030 remodeled guest rooms and suites, often offers the best value for money (性价比) near a Disneyland Resort - Thanks for its large inventory!
Upon entering the lobby, a nice lobby with marble floor and the upscale check-in counters with many uniformed knowledgeable check-in staff impressed me - those staff are indeed at the same level of skill set like at The Ritz -Carlton I visited three years ago!
The check-in process lasted only 5 minutes, and I decided to visit the Concierge Lounge at the 18th floor after dropping my luggage at the stateroom.
Upon entering into the Concierge Lounge, my first impression is to view a pararomic skyline of Anaheim.
It is worth noting since late 2018, Marriott has been pushing to replace its traditional Marriott Concierge Lounges with modern M Club Lounges that must open 24x7 with daily Happy Hour. Unfortunately, just 207 M Club Lounges have been converted or established to the M Club Lounges worldwide today, shying of its original goal to reach 500 M Club Lounges.
The Happy Hour food and drink quality between M Club and Concierge Lounge are almost the same in the U.S. - see a short video for your reference! The service at the lounge is excellent, 3 staffers are constantly serving guests.
All staff I met here are friendly beginning with a few valid parking staff - well trained!
Very friendly staff and the pool was phenomenal!
I'm at the hotel now, it is our 3rd night of 4 we are staying here. We are attending a conference called CSUN. I have to say I have been disappointed thus far. I booked 2 rooms both with 2 queen beds. My requests for the rooms were ignored... The in room refrigerators are a joke, they only stay on for 2 hours at a time, if you are lucky. Then you have to manually press a button inside the fridge to turn it back on every 2 hours. The ice machines don't work; I went to different floors trying to get a bucket of ice and finally had to call front desk to bring ice to the room. I booked a room with a balcony also and our rooms are not even in the tower with balconies. We are on the 2nd floor and our rooms are not next to each other as requested either. The elevators are very odd with no internal buttons and only one key pad to call them on the far right of a bank of 4 elevatiors. I'm a Marriott member and the WIFI for both rooms is very confusing, it should be free but each day it looks like they are charging us $14.95 a day, I will speak to them at checkout to try and get resolved. (will update review at that point).
The rooms are a decent size, but in need of a major overhaul. The bathrooms have one hook to hang towels and there is no dresser or anything else to store clothing, there is a tiny closest with a few hangers and that is it. The air conditioning is also hit or miss based on the hour of the day. I have celiac so I can't comment on the food. However, a few people have told me it is majorly over priced for what you get.
On the plus side the employees are amazing at helping you and very kind. Michael helped us get a microwave into the second room, so I could warm up gluten free food. The beds are also comfortable and pillows are nice and soft with different thickness and softness.
If you are coming to go to Disney it is a 30 minute walk. I took an Uber to Downtown Disney and it was $15.00 and took less than 10 minutes. If you have small children I would stay somewhere closer, if you plan to walk and not rent a car.
I have stayed at many Marriott's over the years and this one is at the bottom of list as far as rooms go, but towards the top with the wonderful helpful staff. Unless some changes are made I would not stay here again. I will update the review after we check out on Friday.
