Cons:

The second night of our stay whomever was across the hall from us was up all night slamming their door and talking sooo loud. I didn’t sleep at all and I was recovering from a medical procedure. I did inform the front desk upon checkout

A place to lay your hat in Dadeland
Pros:

I was able to use one of my final nightly upgrade awards (NUA) at the Aloft Dadeland on a recent trip to Miami.

The room was particularly spacious for myself and the two children who were traveling with me.

I noticed that earplugs were provided by the hotel which is never a good sign.

Thankfully, it being a holiday week there was little to no traffic noise outside to create a disturbance, but I did notice that the windows to the room were particularly thin and were not double-glazed - and this is possibly why earplugs were left on the bedside table.

The room was clean and comfortable with a good king-size bed. The bathroom also had good lighting and a powerful shower.

In the public areas a swimming pool looks better online than in person. I dipped my hand into the water and it felt on the cool side.

It’s not an unpleasant place to spend a short time, but I decided not to stay at the property for more than one night.

It is very close to the Dadeland Mall with plenty of dining and shopping options.

There’s also plenty of car parking at the hotel and there is no charge to occupy space overnight, which is refreshing for a Miami-based hotel.
