Worst hotel staff ever. No one’s ever at the front desk to help. Stood at the front desk for over 30 min waiting to be checked in at 11 pm at night. Three workers were there but no one acknowledged the line of folks waiting. Tons of people overbooked and people’s rooms weren’t clean. Complete shit show.
We showed up to check in at 8pm. They told us they could not let us in our room because there were maintenance workers in our room repairing the AC. Despite there being other available rooms, they would not move us to one of the available rooms because they told us they were already assigned to other guests who had not yet checked in. They told us, “sorry, the hotel is not first come first served.” They offered no help in procuring us another room at a nearby hotel. As we were already late for the wedding welcome dinner, we were forced to change in the lobby bathroom into our wedding attire. As we were both guests of a wedding room block and Gold Elite Marriott members, we cannot believe we were treated so poorly in this situation. I have never had such an appalling hotel check in situation. They ultimately could not give us any estimate for when the AC would be repaired and our room would be available, so we decided to cancel our reservation and seek another hotel with an available room on our own. We ended up having to pay 4x the original cost of the hotel reservation because the new reservation was so last minute. I am embarrassed for this hotel that they would treat guests this way.
Location was good.
Pillows and bed lacked comfort.
Our go-to at least o e night a month from Port Saint Lucie…tremendous value and location next to Dadeland Mall.

I needed somewhere to stay betyween arriving at Miami International Airport and embarking on a cruise from Miami Port. The airport is at one end of the MetroRail Orange Line and this hotel is about a pleasant 10 minute walk from the other end of the Orange Line, so very easy. On the way to the hotel from the train station (Dadeland South) there isa Publix supermarket to buy your meals, and equally nearby is a shopping mall with the usual stores. Opposite the hotel is a small mall with a TJ max and a place to buy a guitar if you need one for the next leg of your travels. All in all, very convenient for my purposes and I didn´t need to hire a car, or an Uber. The only difficult part about getting into the Miami Port was the last leg, using the free Trolley Bus, as no-one in the area knew where the stops were located, and some stops take you the wrong way. From memory, the stop on NW 3rd takes you the wrong way while the one on NW 5th takes you the direct route towards the port area (it´s a one way street). The trolley buses are not that frequent nor regular, but they take you to the cruise terminals.
Security wasn´t great - no card needed to operate lift - but there was a big safe in the room.
Very clean, love that it has a fenced in dog park. Located across an excellent bakery (Don Pan) that serves excellent breakfast. I liked the decor and the size of the room. Very friendly staff, easy to check in and out.
Too noisy - street noise pretty much all night and the noise from the AC unit woke me up a couple of times. Otherwise the room was excellent, very spacious.
Excelente lugar para hospedarse con familia. Personal sumamente amable.
