Sonesta Miami Airport

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, and I would especially like to thank Wilder, Ana, and Fátima for their exceptional kindness and professionalism. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel welcome and comfortable. They were always friendly, attentive, and willing to help with anything I needed, which truly made my experience even better. Their positive attitude and excellent service stood out and made my stay unforgettable. I highly appreciate their dedication and would definitely recommend this hotel because of the amazing staff.

They have been very welcoming and kind. I have greatly appreciated their hospitality. Look forward to coming again. Although the music is a little loud in the lounge. Other than that very nice.

We had an amazing time staying at your hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms were so comfy. I would definitely stayagain.

This place is about 10 minutes from the airport. A colleague says it’s where American puts stranded passengers. We had a business meeting there. Surprisingly, the group rate was more than the Sonesta member rate, so I booked the second way. Turns out that my rate didn’t include breakfast, so I shelled out an extra $27 for the buffet. Also had to pay $29 for “premium” internet, so I could take a business call. Rooms had a confusing set of light switches.

BEWARE!!! We booked 2 rooms and pre-paid in full a 5 hour Day room at a Miami hotel through HotelsByDay. When we arrived we had to put up a $50 (pending) credit card hold. Two hours after we left we had noticed that both rooms had been charged an additional $93 plus $43 over and above the paid room. We contacted the hotel and was told there was no such charge, we contacted HotelsbyDay and they said the charges were in error and would be removed. 5 days later and the $50 was removed but not the other 2 charges. We contacted our bank to dispute the charges and they advised that it is a possible fraud against our credit card. We are still waiting for the reversals or for the credit card company to resolve and reverse the fraudulent or fake charges.

Wilson is truly a great bartender at the Sonesta. From the moment I sat down, he was warm, personable, and incredibly attentive. His drinks were AMAZING. What stood out most was how sweet and inviting he was to every customer, even after sharing that he was holding it down alone because his coworker called off. Despite being extremely busy, he never let it affect his attitude or the quality of service. He was so kind and made everyone feel welcome. Wilson is an absolute gem and a huge asset to the Sonesta— Gracias Wilson! :)

Hotel was clean, outside noise was present all hours of the night. The breakfast buffet is not worth the 24 per person. Cruise line shuttle was $17 per person showed up an hour and 5 minutes late. It takes 1 hour 10 minutes to get to the cruise ships s take an Uber, it will cost 1/2 the price for a group of 6 and you won't run behind schedule.

Had a very comfortable stay at the Sonesta Miami Airport hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, enjoyed our pre-cruise time at this hotel. Shout out to Wilson in the lounge for his hospitality and excellent customer service - great experience.

I had an excellent cappuccino at the Sonesta Hotel, beautifully made by Fatima. The espresso was rich and well-balanced, the milk perfectly textured, and the foam smooth and velvety—not too stiff, not too airy. It was clear that real care and skill went into the preparation. What could have been a routine hotel coffee turned into a standout experience and a perfect start.

I stop by to get a latte, and let me tell you: it has been the best latte I have ever had.

If you want a DELICIOUS latte, stop by the Sonesta Miami Airport and ask for her.

This was our first time staying at the Sonesta. We got in a bit late and decided to go have something to eat and a drink downstairs. Winston and Ana took care of us and they were so warm, accommodating and pleasant. The food was excellent. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Thank you!

I’ve stayed here once before; I came back because it’s a good location, but also because I really like the restaurant and its staff, especially Jorge. Not a big menu, but very good, and a nice wine list plus great cocktails. The guava mojito in particular is terrific.

I would like to appreciate 2 people for their amazing service and always helps me with hot water request. Ms. Sayad and Ms. Ana from the restaurant. Everytime I come they have always have a happy face and always eager to help. Kudos to these amazing ladies for their hardwork. And offering me nice tres leches. I appreciate it and keep it up ladies.

I had a wonderful stay at the Sonesta Hotel and couldn’t be happier with my experience. The restaurant was spotless, and the food was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Everything about my stay was comfortable and enjoyable from start to finish. A special thank you to Fatima, whose service was outstanding; she was incredibly professional, attentive, and welcoming, which truly made a difference. I’m very grateful for such a great experience and look forward to returning.

We stayed at the Sonesta for a quick overnight/layover before traveling to our next destination.

Only a couple miles from the airport with complimentary shuttle service both ways made this hotel a great choice.

Rooms and hotel are clean. There’s a small convenience store on site along with a bar/restaurant.

Ask for Jorge!!! He was absolutely amazing! You could tell everything was made out of love! Such a great experience!!!!
