Sonesta Miami Airport

I had a wonderful overnight stay at the Sonesta Miami Airport and it honestly exceeded my expectations for an airport hotel. The room was incredibly cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything you need to relax after a long day of travel. The bed was super comfortable, the space felt modern and inviting, and the amenities made it easy to settle in and recharge before the next day.

One of the highlights of the stay was the restaurant. The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and much better than what you would normally expect from an airport hotel. It was the perfect way to unwind without having to leave the property. The service was also friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better.

If you’re flying in or out of Miami and need a comfortable place to stay, this is a fantastic option. Cozy rooms, great amenities, and surprisingly delicious food make it a stay I would definitely recommend.

Sayda was are waitress at the hotel restaurant. She was very happy and knowledge in the menu.

It's a lovely, very clean and spacious hotel. The staff is very friendly and warm. I really enjoyed having dinner ta the restaurant, the food is delicious, especially the plantains. Shout out to Wilson for being so friendly and kind.

We stayed for 2 nights and took the free shuttle from the airport. This can be tracked using the link from their website.

Check-in: It was smooth, uneventful and quick. Breakfast was included in my reservation, which I made through Booking.

Room: AC is blasted in the hallways but once in the room, there are individual controls. The room was bright, renovated, and clean, except in front of the coffee machine.

Washroom: Well stocked and spacious.

Bed: King size, comfortable and good quality linens.

Room: Newly renovated, and the view was of NW 42nd street. The photos are from 656.

2 points to note:
* The light for the tv frame is on the front of the bench.
* Before you check-out, confirm the charges. I was charged for breakfast even though it was already included. I needed to visit them again after my cruise to ge that removed, which was verified and promptly handled.

I took the free shuttle back to the airport. Given the 10min walk to Target, a nearby (but expensive) SLT Cafe, yes, I would definitely stay here again.

The Sonesta Miami is very nice and convenient to the airport and cruise port. There are several dining options. The staff are knowledgeable and very friendly and accommodating.

This is the kind of place where you stay one night, coming or going. I requested and got an ADA room, king bed with a walk in shower. I especially loved that the room was very clean and the bedding was top notch. Great pillows, too. This hotel has a restaurant that is open late, so important when traveling and every flight is late. There's a buffet and menu. Eat from the buffet, since the menu food is made when you order, and takes forever. Great news! The shuttle to the airport really works. Actually, everything works.

Sayda was lovely, and attentive

I stayed here for one night because of a flight cancellation. The airport shuttle runs continuously every 20 minutes. You do not need to call to be picked up. Just be at one the correct pickup doors. That information is on the website. I arrived at noon but was unable to check into the hotel until 2pm, without paying a fee of $45. I didn't mind waiting until 2. Rooms are very modern and have been recently updated. Rooms have wood floors instead of carpeting. The bed was comfortable. The bathrooms do not have tubs. Instead, there have nice walk-in showers. There was no outside noise, which made sleeping delightful. The AC worked fine. There are not a lot of dinner options nearby, so I ended up eating at the hotel . The hotel restaurant had a dinner buffet for $37 but that seemed too expensive for what was being offered. Instead, i ordered the caesar salad with salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly. Service was good at the bar, which was where I sat. I would happily stay here again.

The Sonesta makes for quite the experience. The staff is kind, sweet, and ready to provide an unforgettable experience. I come here often for work and see Sayda and Wilson. The two never make me feel like i am home away from home. I have been coming here for a long time and George was the first to help me feel welcomed. Any night spent at the bar is a night to be enjoyed.

Rooms are clean but i have a specific special lady her name is Sayda my goodness i have never seen such kindness, I'm not feeling too good and I'm on bedrest from work and she been empathetic and supportive and kind and makes sure i have water, i have eaten my food and is always wishing me well. I love her and she has made me look forward to going downstairs for dinner, i am all alone but she has always managed to put a smile on my face

Thanks to Sayda for a great restaurant experience. She knew how cold or warm certain seats were and asked what i preferred.

We had dinner at Tailwinds in the Sonesta Miami Airport. Our server was Jorge Collazo. Our food was extremely good and Jorge was an outstanding bartender. He made the evening so pleasant for not only us but the group of strangers at the bar who enjoyed a great night of socializing and making new friends.

Sayda was awesome! Great service, super attentive and very sweet.

I had the braised oxtail tacos at the bar restaurant and they were delicious!! Sayda the bartender recommended them and they did not disappoint. She was so nice, informative and accommodating.

The hotel was clean, the check-in was fast and efficient. The shuttle was slow. The restaurant has great customer service, limited menu and overpriced. Our server Sayda was amazing!

Waiter was wry good and gave excellent service
