We liked the room in the hotel. We like the restaurant. Like the fact that it was close to the airport.
Pros:

Close to the airport at Orlando

Cons:

45 minute wait to get picked up at the airport by the airport shuttle for Holiday Inn. There is only one shuttle per hour. Going to the airport is much more efficient because I know what time it’s leaving and I can be there then.

Pros:

The pool was large and warm. A nice way to spend an afternoon after a cruise and before flying home.

Cons:

The rooms had individual heating and cooling units that constantly turned on and off all night. Made it difficult to sleep.

Great Experience
Pros:

Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Very convenient to the Orlando airport, but plane noise was not an issue.

Perfect find for I might near airport.
Pros:

Only needed one night.-
Location: easy MCO/car rental drop-off access - 5 min drive (at5:30 am). Plenty of restaurants around. WAWA gas station 5min away. (Don’t go to closest - they charge double normal gar prices.)

Clean room/BR, had everything we needed including fridge for meds.( no shower cap)

Staff: friendly, competent. Had minor IHG rewards issue, front desk help me resolve.

Very good price for quality of room/staff/location.

Didn’t use bar/ breakfast.

Rooms Are Not For Seniors
Pros:

The lobby area of this hotel is very nice and check-in went well. The rooms, however, are NOT for seniors. Entering the room at night is a confusing and dangerous experience. I expected a light switch near the door that would illuminate most of the room. It was only good for the entryway near the bathroom. The other lights in the room are in inconvenient places with switches designed to be hidden from view. Forget trying to find a way to turn on most of the lights in the room without a flashlight or cellphone light. The kind bed was nice but only had one light on a nightstand near the window. No light where a solo traveler would want to sleep. Additionally, the electrical connections on the nightstand were non functional. Apparently the main cord behind the heavy night stand was not plugged into the wall so forget charging anything. Walking into the room is hazardous for seniors because part of the entryway is obstructed by a bench. The chair at the end of the king bed is too big for the writing table and obstructs the area at the foot of the bed. The refrigerator is enclosed in a special cabinet to mask the sound but there are no microwave ovens in any of the rooms. There is a microwave along a wall in the lobby which is available to use for all the dozens of guests. Between charging for parking, poor design in the rooms and one microwave for the whole hotel (and no free breakfast), I’ll not stay here again.

I was overall pleased and would plan another stay if I choose to fly out of Orlando.
Pros:

Room met expectations. Convenient location to MCO with efficient shuttle service. Unfortunately, no breakfast with room option selected.

Cons:

At check out I asked the clerk to divide my room rate with my roommate so each would pay half. Instead he charged one card the full amount and credited the rate to the other card. Not a big deal, just additional work for me.
