Hatte den Schlüssel verloren und mir wurde innerhalb von 15 Minuten Ersatz beschafft. Danke noch mal dafür. Sehr nette hilfsbereite Leute.

Cons:

Etwas laut wegen einer Bar gegenüber, entsprechend der Lage okay, da Schallisolierung. Wer empfindlich ist bucht besser ein Zimmer ohne Balkon, ohne Straßenblick. Die Zimmer zum Innenhofsind sind sehr ruhig.

Outside easy to commute, inside clean but noisy
Pros:

The location was easy to commute from and close to the Omonia Square (with bus, trolleybus, metro, and HOHO stops). The room was clean, and the check-in process was easy, even though we came later than expected. They are really good in chat communication, that they collected our feedbacks and claimed that they will solve the problems after my feedback.

Cons:

The windows were not enough to cut the loudness from the bars outside (the techno beats were inside the room with street view), the bathrooms were getting wet from the shower and the shower head was not working and/or not be able to hanged for handfree usage (the facility have been informed maybe this will be solved for later). We could not be able to see anyone in the reception to be able to ask any question.

If you are expecting a hotel, skip this one.
Pros:

Booked the room with the balcony which was actually more of a terrace - loads of space and a real sun trap in the morning.

Cons:

Be aware this property is NOT a hotel, even if it says it is. The reception was not manned during the stated check in/out times and there is no daily cleaning service. Speaking of cleaning this was very patchy - the large patio window had not been cleaned for weeks, same can be said of the scum build up in the toothbrush cup and the loo brush holder full of dirty water. The entrance was at night was quite dull and unwelcoming.

Τοποθεσία, κοντά σε μετρό.

Cons:

Ήταν από τα πιο βρώμικα δωμάτια που έχω συναντήσει! Μέσα στο ψυγείο υπήρχαν φαγητά από delivery (jackaroo) του προηγούμενου, αυτός που καθάρισε δεν μπήκε στον κόπο προφανώς να κοιτάξει εκεί. Επίσης το AC υπολειτουργεί. Τέλος το αποκορύφωμα ήταν το μπάνιο!!! Ο νιπτήρας να στάζει στο πάτωμα, η κεφαλή του ντους σπασμένη, μόλις γύρισα το νερό εκεί πετάχτηκε από την πίεση και φυσικά όταν κάνει κάποιος μπάνιο τα νερά βγαίνουν μέχρι το κρεβάτι επειδή δεν υπάρχει ντουζιέρα!

Nice flat in a lively area, not expensive.

Cons:

Unfortunately the shower heads were both broken (I needed to clean one to use it) and it was hard to locate the blankets. I stayed here on saturday and there was music and shouting all night from bars across the street, so bring some earplugs or ask for a room at the back. OK it's in Exarchia, known for its nightlife and nothing the owners can help, and maybe I should have researched the area before I booked, but I didn't sleep very well.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend The Athens Lights to young travelers, couples, or groups looking for
Pros:

Room was clean. The location was ideal for a short stay. Omonia Metro Station was less than a 10-minute walk away, and there were plenty of shops, supermarkets, and cafés in the surrounding area.

Cons:

Our room was clean and tidy. One of the blackout curtains was slightly damaged, which let in some light in the morning. The bathroom was also clean, but quite small — the walk-in shower design wasn’t very practical. Without a shower door or curtain, water splashed out easily and almost flooded the floor.

There are bars nearby that play loud music until at least 4:30 a.m., but this didn’t bother us too much since we were exhausted after busy days of exploring (and a few too many drinks!).

Before arriving, we emailed the property to ask about early check-in since we would be arriving before the official time. They kindly let us check in early because our room was already available. We had also arranged to store our luggage after checkout until 6 p.m., as our flight back to Crete was later that evening. Unfortunately, when we checked out, no staff were present at the property, so we had to use a nearby luggage storage service instead, which was a bit inconvenient.
