Die Lage ist schön, sehr abseits, aber ruhig. Das Zimmer war sauber. Es entsprach jedoch nicht meinen Erwartungen eines Superior Doppel- oder Zweibettzimmers.

Weder bei der Ankunft (Dienstag ist Ruhetag - das ist über Booking.com nicht ersichtlich!!) noch bei meiner Abreise war Personal vor Ort. Das inkludierte Frühstück konnte ich nicht einnehmen, da keines angeboten wurde, da ich "zu früh" abgereist bin (6:30h).
Umständlich habe ich über eine App zuerst Zugang ins Hotel dann auch ins Zimmer bekommen. Die Zimmerkarte fand ich erst am Abreisetag morgens unten im Eingangsbereich - zugänglich für jeden, der dort vorbeigeht. Die muss in der Nacht dorthin gelegt worden sein, denn als ich ankam, lag keine Karte dort. Das fand ich sehr strange. In der Nacht hätte jeder mein Zimmer betreten können.
Als ich bereits unterwegs war hat mich der Hotelbesitzer angerufen und sich beschwert, dass ich einfach weggefahren sei. Was hätte ich tun können? Ich musste früh starten. Das Hotel und das Gasthaus waren sowohl Dienstag (ok, Ruhetag) als auch Mittwoch zu. Kein Mensch war dort. Es war auch niemand erreichbar gewesen. Zu keinem Zeitpunkt. Es hat auch niemand ein Frühstück im Restaurant vorbereitet oder Ähnliches. Ich musste mir vom Hotelbesitzer nur Vorwürfe und fadenscheinige Erklärungen anhören.
Fazit: wenn man eine App-Abwicklung des Ein- und Auscheckens aufgrund von Ruhetagen anbieten muss, dann sollte man dies transparent und proaktiv kommunizieren. Und sich um alles kümmern, was einen reibungslosen und positiven Ablauf sicherstellt. Dem Kunden dann Vorwürfe zu machen ist einfach bodenlos. Kurz: für mich war es das erste und letzte Mal im Gafringwirt.

Einfache Anmeldung , alles schnell erledigt.

Cons:

Polster zu dick. Kein minus für Hotel nur für mich hat nicht gepasst.

Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und mehr als Ausreichend. Ei konnte man auf Bestellung erhalten. Ambiente im Raum war auch super. SelfCheckIn ging ohne Probleme per App welche man sich vorher kurz runtergeladen hat - alles aber super verständlich erklärt.

Wieder ein schöner Kurzurlaub.
Pros:

Frühstück fein und tolle Speisen im Gasthof. Gastgeber und Personal stets freundlich und bemüht. Wiederholungsfall: Wir waren hier bereits zu Gast und es hat wieder alles zur vollsten Zufriedenheit gepasst.
