We were upgraded. And that was a bonus, the pool was well maintained. There are loads of options for dining and take away as the hotel is located fabulously.

Parking was easy but I dragged my bags inside to check in and then was given a piece of paper to put on my car. So I dragged all my luggage back outside to put it in the window.
The elevator was not working and the only room
Was on the 4th floor. No one offered assistance. I traveled alone and had three bags. The door was very hard to open. I thought it was actually locked and called down to the front desk. They told me to push really hard. I had to literally body slam the door to open it. The elevator wasn’t working still not working this morning either so I carted three bags down the 4 flights of stairs.
Location
Room had no window and was near an exit door that was supposed to stay locked but it was always ajar. Room door had 1” gap on bottom so could hear noise in hallway.

Good location with lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Easy transit access to downtown. Suite lay-out was very roomy and great for a longer stay. Breakfast was okay, but for a longer stay would be nice if they mixed it up. Restaurant staff was outstanding.
Front desk staff bored, not mean, just not welcoming or helpful. Did the bare minimum of check-in. Minor elevator fire during stay made room access more difficult. Lots of minor rules posted around the property, like they don't expect good guest behavior any more.

Gladys was amazing, vrry friendly & helpful. Staff at the resturant was very nice.
No comp for fire alarm leaving us out of our room at 11 at night & 0 notifocation when/it was okay to come back in. We made the decision after 45 mins & had to ask the front desk if it was safe. We got mixed messages.
We had somewhere to sleep.
We checked in and the hotel is so hot and humid like they dont have AC in the building at all. We got to our first room and its swarming with mosquitos. Moved rooms and wet dirty carpets, beyond rude staff. Wished I never would have stayed here absolute waste of money.

The check-in process was straightforward, and the staff was accommodating. Regrettably, we were unable to check in early, but the staff was able to hold our baggage until the check-in time.
Two adjacent rooms were initially booked. However, due to an AC malfunction, one room was relocated to a room situated across the entire building. On our second night of a five-night stay, the hot water supply ceased functioning due to a water pump malfunction. This issue persisted throughout the day and was only resolved on the fourth day of our stay.
On one occasion, an individual was observed walking through the hallways and forcefully striking doors. The sound of the impact suggested an intention to breach the rooms. The banging persisted throughout the entire hallway, occurring approximately at 2:00 AM. If I were traveling with my family or children, I would have canceled the remaining nights and sought alternative accommodations.
Finally, the pool is located indoors. While this may not be a significant concern since my room was not situated near the pool, the persistent odor of chlorine permeates the hallways.
