Categories

Cleanliness
7
Rooms frequently described as clean, but there are notable cleanliness issues (cockroach sighting, overpowering bug-spray smell) and a serious housekeeping privacy breach, bringing this slightly below average.
Service
8.6
Staff repeatedly praised as friendly, helpful and sincere; several comments say staff made stays enjoyable. One serious incident with housekeeping attempted entry noted but overall service is a strong positive.
Location
7.2
Location convenient for some trips (close to work/Sonora) but several reports of rooms next to a busy road and loud trains/noisy neighbors hurting nighttime rest.
Room Quality
6.5
Multiple maintenance and comfort problems: torn curtains, broken temperature controls, very hard beds, bathtub plug/shower issues, no drawers in some rooms—overall below expectations.
Amenities
8.6
Breakfast, pool and pet-friendly facilities are valued (dog-friendly noted); some practicality issues (cumbersome shower chairs, parking) but amenities are generally a strength.
Value for Money
8.8
Described as cheap and worth the money by several guests; reasonable solid accommodations for the price despite some faults.
Food and Beverage
8.7
Breakfast consistently praised as delicious with many options; occasional complaints about temperature (lukewarm tea, breakfast could be warmer) and how breakfast is served.
Overall Experience
7.8
Many guests enjoyed their stays and would recommend or return, driven by staff and breakfast, but noise, maintenance and isolated safety/privacy issues tempered overall satisfaction.
