We loved the the decor and the way the decor made you feel as you walked thru out the hotel the trains were a plus and great restaurants near by
We had a guest banging on our adjacent door after midnight to the point I went to front desk 2 times
Excellent location and very helpful, friendly staff. The room was clean and cozy.
Did not like having to pay $20 for parking.
beautiful room and services. wonderful lobby
more light in the bathroom to put on makeup
Everything
Nothing
I’ve stayed at this hotel twice and it’s been lovely both times. The rooms are comfortable, showers have excellent water pressure, and everyone working there is very nice. Would definitely stay again!
The treadmills in the gym are a bit too complex and one wasn’t working at all. I don’t need a fancy screen I just want to set a pace and run.
I liked everything! Well except for the pillows, but I am biased on that, they would probably be great for everyone else! I cannot truly think of anything bad to say other than "I wasnt able to stay longer"! It was a flash decision, and I am very grateful I did it!
So what i really liked was how I felt transported back in time, yet it still had an updated appeal! The bed was absolutely marvelous; I told the staff "when I was a OTR truck driver I used to treat myself to lavish rooms on my out of town trips; never have a slept so peacefully as I did last night"! As you can tell from this book I am going back for a longer stay in the future; next time in a remodeled train car!!
So should you! Take a chance at staying in a location that has had dual historical roots and purposes! I would rather stay somewhere with a historical connection than a grand hotel; even with any slight imperfections from their historical significance!
Thanks staff, and ones responsible for the design!
That i couldn't sleep longer in that wonderful bed! That i wasnt able to take full advantage of the surrounding social spots; once again no fault of this hotel. The reason for my flash decision kinda dampened my social mood, lol! Oh a small microwave would have been nice, ok thats the only complaint.
