Pros:

The location was great, we could walk downtown (about 15 min to the farmer’s market).
The rooms were clean and the staff was great. We would stay there again for sure.

Very clean and comfortable
Pros:

Very clean, upgraded room, comfortable beds, great location, our room was in the back and very quiet. The two courtyards were beautiful. The staff is super welcoming

Cons:

Breakfast was very good, but it would be good to have more fresh fruit or berries choices.

Not worth the aggravation or expense

Cons:

The sink plunger was not attached upon arrival, went to sit outside by fire pits and asked to be lit which after about ten minutes someone came out and lit the pits where we were not sitting. So we moved to a lit one and the seat cushions were filthy. We noticed the wooden staircase supports were cracked and look as if they would fail at any given time-this was on all three floors of the outdoor staircase. The food with the free food coupon was worth exactly what we paid for-nothing.
The original front desk girl was a dud, after that everyone else was pleasant. We booked another hotel and left after 1 night. We were told since we booked with a third party there was nothing they could do regarding a refund. I've heard this before. Just an excuse, so we ate the 2 nights we didn't stay. The property spent a lot of money on the outside paint-just lipstick on a pig. I would not stay here ever again.

Convenient location close to SLO and Highway 101
Pros:

The location close to Cal Poly and Hwy 101 was great.

Cons:

My sheets had very small but noticeable stains on them. They did not smell dirty, but I think housekeeping needs to inspect them more closely and use stain remover as needed. That is why I would not recommend this place as a "romantic" stay.
