Location, was close enough to all the activities but far enough so the noise did not follow us
It was all good, nothing to complain about
Clean and well appointed. The staff were fantastic, especially the valet staff.
Centrally located, beautifully appointed
Everything was great!
Location was great it was 3 city blocks from Broadway and 4 from our Nashville tour.
No where on Booking.com did it say that parking was a separate cost. For 1 night stay we were charged $60.36 for enter and exit parking. It was 8 decks and finally found 1 of 2 open spaces on the 8th deck. I then paid extra on booking.com for the "exceptional breakfast" and the hotel employees had no idea what I was asking they did however give me a voucher to eat breakfast in one of their restaurants.
Everything was great
Parking cost way too expensive for 1 night. Guest should get free parking!
The hotel was clean
No amenities such as coffee bar ect. The hotel charged our card an extra $27.44 destination fee that we weren’t informed of. They just took the money with no warning.
Sat down to breakfast at the bar and Laura absolutely made our day! She was super sweet and exuded such wonderful positive energy. What a great way to start the day. Oh and Krista made one mean Bloody Mary! Highly recommend stoping by!
We had a really nice stay at this hotel. The property itself is beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable and well maintained. Everything felt clean and well organized, which made the stay very relaxing.
All of the staff we encountered were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Their hospitality really made a positive impression and added to the overall experience.
We also tried the Library restaurant, which had decent food and a pleasant atmosphere. It was a nice place to sit down and enjoy a meal.
The Club Lounge is also very pretty and well designed. However, when we arrived it was full of flight attendants and pilots, and we weren’t quite sure if there was some sort of private gathering or crew event happening. Because of that, it felt a little awkward for us, so we ended up leaving.
Overall, it’s a lovely hotel with great service and comfortable rooms. Aside from that slightly awkward moment at the lounge, we had a great stay and would definitely consider coming back.
Platinum Elite Approved – Shayla & Kerry Made the Trip!
As a Marriott Platinum Elite member and Hyatt Globalist, I travel often and have come to expect a certain standard — including room upgrades when available. I was in Nashville for a guys weekend, and we chose the Sheraton Nashville Downtown primarily for its location. It’s just a few blocks from Broadway’s bars, restaurants, and nightlife, which made it the perfect home base for the weekend.
The room itself was exactly what I’d expect from a Sheraton — clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed. No complaints there.
The club lounge, however, was a bit underwhelming compared to other Marriott lounges I’ve experienced. It wasn’t bad, just not particularly memorable.
But here’s the thing — the crown jewel of this hotel isn’t the rooms or even the location.
It’s Shayla and Kerry at the main lobby bar.
Hands down, they were the best bartenders we encountered all weekend — and we visited a lot of bars. As i also happen to hold Globalist status with Hyatt, and I jokingly mentioned that I’ve had better stays with Hyatt than Marriott. That’s all Shayla needed to hear. She made it her personal mission to convert me back to Team Marriott.
The playful banter, the friendly competition, the jokes — it made the night. She even got us access to the Sky Lounge rooftop for nightcaps, which was a fantastic touch and completely unexpected. That level of service is what separates a good stay from a great one.
If you travel a lot, you know — every once in a while, you run into a rock star employee who takes your trip to the next level.
Shayla was that person for us.
Because of her (and Kerry), I’ll absolutely stay at the Sheraton Nashville Downtown again next time I’m in town. Loyalty programs matter — but great people matter more.
5 stars for service where it counts.
I spend all of my mornings with Allie at the bar. She has a great personality. My vote for employee of the year. Thanks Allie.
Great location, amazing service! Will definitely stay here again!
Remon was highly attentive and provided great service. Food was alright.
Overall a very nice hotel, staff is nice and it’s very walkable to broadway. Extra bonus is it’s pet friendly. Only downfall was there was a dance competition we didn’t know about when booking and kids seem to be running free around the hotel and the water pressure in the room was iffy but staff worked to address very quickly
The valet did a fantastic job! Mina and David were also so helpful in loading my belongings. I really appreciated their assistance.
Oscar was very helpful and friendly. He helped us with getting our cars in bags. Excellent service! Will be back. Thank you.
