My average rating reflects a check-in experience that involved a wait of more than 45 minutes.
Hotel check-in begins at 3:00 PM, and we arrived just a few minutes before that time. The issue was not that our room was unavailable early, but that at 3:00 PM our room was still not ready.
The first front desk associate, a young woman, informed us that approximately ten other guests were also waiting. It was unclear whether this was meant as reassurance or simply factual information. Later, we were also told the hotel had been at capacity the night before. While both of these give reason for the delay, it did nothing to ease the frustration of waiting after paying a premium rate for the stay.
To add to the frustration, this is the same hotel that expects guests to be out promptly at the 11:00 AM checkout time. At 11:08 AM, while we were still gathering our bags, housekeeping used a key to enter our room without knocking and walked straight in. That was both surprising and unacceptable.
We had booked a room on a high floor, and upon arrival, we were told our room would be on the 24th floor. The view was a major part of why we chose this hotel. Instead, we were assigned a room on the 8th floor overlooking a construction zone, which fell far short of expectations.
We were provided with dinner vouchers, but the delayed check-in caused us to miss a 5:30 PM event we had planned.
I immediately emailed hotel management (Kenneth Mendelsohn and Maryna Biedunkova), and as of three days later, I have not received any response—not even an acknowledgment confirming receipt of my email.
Despite this, there were three exceptional, service-oriented individuals who went above and beyond to address our concerns.
The following day, while visiting the bar, we spoke with our bartender, Allie, and shared how the check-in experience had negatively impacted our stay. She took the initiative to speak with Skippy, the manager on duty. Shortly afterward, they were able to relocate us to a room on the 18th floor, which better aligned with what we had originally booked.
For the remainder of our stay, Allie, Skippy, and Jamara (spelling unsure) made a genuine effort to ensure we had a positive experience. Their attentiveness, professionalism, and problem-solving skills significantly improved our stay, and I truly appreciated the effort they put forth.
While I cannot say with certainty that I would stay at this hotel again, I can confidently say I would gladly visit any property where Allie, Skippy, and Jamara are working.
Location, room, breakfast are excellent
None
Front desk staff were polite and professional
The room was dirty, bathroom dirty, bed stunk
Waste of money! From the insane parking fees to the terrible restaurant service, I won’t stay here again.
We were here for a conference. The room was set up wrong even though we sent specific instructions with a diagram. We had 30 attendees and there was 1 bathroom on the floor with 1 toilet and 1 sink!
Bedroom had a very lumpy bed because of a mattress pad that didn’t fit. The “armoire “ blocked part of the tv from the bed closest to the window.
Only reason for not rating it a 1, was the banquet staff. They were very attentive and helpful.
Front staff was very friendly and accommodating.
We had 2 drink vouchers for the Library. Bartender ignored us when she saw the vouchers and was not very friendly. 4 Bartenders total and not very busy but there were to busy talking to another.
Lovely quiet hotel ,because you need that when you’re down on the main crazy street of Nashville, the car valley boys are wonderful , Joshua ,Antonio and Tony. They are very friendly every more and helpful
The location & convince to the downtown area.
The cost of parking was $60 on top of the nightly rate of almost $400.
This is actually a review about the parking garage. Long story short, the Sheraton provides parking for non-residents who work in the downtown area for a daily/monthly fee. I am here to let you know that the people working in that sector are amazing! I had a small issue not worth mentioning, but what is worth mentioning is how great Hooper and Jamie were in fixing my problem. Their communication skills were top notch! They were quick to respond, clear with their messaging, and kind with their delivery. If you need parking in the downtown area, give them a call. Highly recommend doing business with them!

Location and room comfort. Also one member of staff was extremely helpful in resolving a problem in the room.
Not all facilities available in hotel. Parking expensive. Cold water running warm.
The drinks were on point. Would definitely recommend.
My daughter recently had a business trip to Nashville and stayed here. The staff were all very friendly and actually got to know her during her stay there. On the morning that she had to leave she discovered her suitcase was broken. Not only did the staff at the front desk kindly brainstorm ways to resolve this issue, but the assistant general manager, Kenneth Mendelssohn, went above and beyond and found some tape and helped her tape it shut so that she could get to the airport on time. My daughter was extremely appreciative of all of their assistance!!
Gym was very good.
While the hotel was ok, the reception staff could be more friendly and obliging.
We had been travelling 23 hours and were very tired, on arrival we were given our room key and asked for a credit card, no information about the hotel or as given. We checked our early morning and again the reception person was unhelpful. We were not given a final bill or even advised of the amount owing and were told it would be emailed. Still not received this and have 2 pending transactions on my bank account. I’ve emailed the hotel on 2 occasions and still not received a response. I find this unprofessional and unacceptable.
Very mixed experience. Location is great- you can walk to the River or Broadway and easy on off freeway.
View from the 24 th floor was fun and we loved that breakfast was on our floor. The Library was a great bar.
Four banks of fast elevators. Unfortunately we had 2 fire alarms the last night and they never had more than one announcement so we had no idea what was going on or what level the threat was—
The phone in our room was one but did not work. We tried to make a reservation and the online page told us the only reservation was at 9:45 pm but when I went up they took us at 6:30 pm and the restaurant stayed empty throughout our meet. Skye was one of our favorite meals and we almost missed it due to no way to get an earlier reservation. People were super friendly.
Camera molto grande, letto comodo, ottima vista!
