Pros:

Room was very clean. Hotel front desk was very friendly and knowledgeable. And our server, Sheree, in the restaurant was very efficient and personable.

Pros:

We liked the view. The room was clean and comfortable even if small. We truly appreciated the fact that they did not put us into a shabby room just because we traveled with our dog. Their restaurant has live country music performances every evening.

Cons:

We had to pay for the parking and it was not cheap.

Great Stay!
Pros:

Great , safe location, within minutes of Vanderbilt hospital. Clean rooms, really good restaurant The Commodore off the lobby.
Shout out to Sheree at the Brew coffee place in the lobby. She was kind, had a fabulous smile and was so helpful to me. After a recent surgery, I was not feeling well and was shaky. Sheree took my order and sweetly brought my food and tea to me at my table and later got me a refill and brought it to me again. It’s the little things that matter!

Best Hotel Staff… HANDS DOWN!!
Pros:

My friend booked out stay a month or so ago for her birthday weekend. Then, the ice storm hit many states, including Nashville, TN, the weekend before we were to arrive. Upon getting into our room (Thursday night), there was barely any warm water. We contacted the front desk and I spoke with Carson. He was super polite, helpful and explained there was an issue with their boiler. I then spoke with Keniya (Friday) and later Hervie (manager on Saturday) and they each shared the same story about the broken boiler being the culprit for no hot water.

Despite the hotel being at full capacity (many residents were without power so they came to the hotel), the lobby being busy and full of pet dogs, Hervie, Keniya and Carson were super agents!! 😂They never flinched, kept their professional composures and held things down like pros!! 😁😂

Every interaction I had with them & observed between them and others, Hervie, Keniya and Carson were always nice, polite and professional. Hervie is a hoot!! Great personality!! And we had great interactions with the security crew: Clay (so awesome), Calvin, Zach, and the shuttle driver, Lewis. Also, one of the room service agents was so sweet (I didn’t get a chance to see her name badge, but short, Spanish, dark black hair in a bob cut & was working around 1pm on Saturday on the 8th floor). Also, the host in the restaurant during happy hour on Friday (short, white guy with glasses and a mustache) was helpful and nice, as well.

It was BRICK COLD outside and the hotel was BUSY, but despite it all, the entire staff was always so kind, helpful and courteous. My friend and I will hopefully be back in Nashville this summer and will definitely stay here again! Many, many thanks to the whole staff for being so on their game when the city of Nashville was covered in ice and snow!!

Also, despite the overload of pets there with their owners, the hotel was always quiet and never smelled like any animals were there! That was HUGE!

(I gave 4 stars instead of 5 solely because we were there for 3 nights and had hot water once (cold showers are brutal!! lol). 😬🥶)

Great staff support
Pros:

Came to Nashville following the big ice storm— so the hotel was very active— but the staff was so friendly and helpful even though many had been working quite a number of days straight! Just finished the breakfast buffet on my last day and had great service with Sheree and the other dining room staff !

Pros:

I had to stay at holiday inn hotel due to my power being out. After check in we went straight to the restaurant located in the lobby, The Commador. We learned that they have like music every night, but unfortunately, due to the weather live music was canceled. But people still showed up to perform so they did acoustic performance, which was awesome. Our server Madalyn was also awesome. Since we’ve never died there before we asked for recommendations which she recommended Music City Pasta and the fried green tomatoes. Both dishes do not disappoint. She’s very personable and accommodating. She provided great service and made sure we enjoyed our visit from beginning to end. We plan on having to stay at the hotel a couple days longer and hopefully we’ll get to see her our next visit. If you plan to visit the Commodore restaurant or stay at the holiday in Vanderbilt ask for Madalyn, she’ll take great care of you.

The best stay and dining experience!
Pros:

My experience at the Holiday Inn Vanderbilt was one of the best I’ve had thus far. From the live band to Madalyn being the best server, it was an absolute blast! She gave us some great recommendations! We will be back for the food, music, & for Madalyn’s service!!

Convenient, decent value, shuttle service!
Pros:

the shuttle was key...I wish it was available a little later, but still very key! Much better than an uber.

Cons:

My only complaint was that there was no shampoo in the bottle in the shower - I also requested do not disturb so there was no way to refill.
