Great stay
Pros:

Friendly staff and great food. Lounge and café were nice with a view of the city. Room was comfortable with a view of the river. Restaurant on the top floor was amazing. Hotel was within walking distance of lots of restaurants as well.

Cons:

Only thing that would have been better is if the vending machine (in the fitness center) was working and not having to call the front desk sometimes multiple times a day to get bottled water in the room but still the front desk staff were very friendly

Pros:

We liked the interior of the lobby and elevators
The staff were very nice

Cons:

The interior of the lobby / elevators didn't match with our room
I wish it was better displayed that we had to pay for parking
The parking is also a bit confusing

Pros:

Friendly staff, streamlined check-in, accommodating for our needs - front entrance parking for taller truck, very late check-in due to traffic and date night, short notice on our part for most changes. All of this was taken in stride by hotel staff and handled well.

Cons:

Room was across from elevator and bed/pillows/linens were outdated or worn, squeaky furniture, etc. Minor gripes all in all.

Overall a decent stay, friendly staff and very clean however even though we had a decent booking price I would not stay
Pros:

Nice views, clean, friendly staff.

Cons:

Room was outdated and needed attention(caulking around bathroom, toilet wouldn’t flush and had to be repaired), no continental breakfast, minimal restaurants nearby. We had to ask for clean towels and coffee on our 2nd day as the room did not get made up.

I have often stayed at the Chateau Lacombe and been very happy. This stay was disappointing.
Pros:

The location and view are excellent. The staff were great, in one case going out of their way to accommodate a request.

Cons:

The bed was hard and the bedding was low-quality. The room was also cold, so I had a poor sleep.
