New small hotel, centrally located
Dishonest staff: two month before arrival they urged us via email to cancel our reservation or to book for more nights. At arrival, they again urged us to cancel our reservation at booking.com and to pay directly in cash to them. In exchange, they offered a breakfast for free. That's totally inappropriate and probably violating the legal contract between the hotel and booking.com
At checkout we paid in cash as requested. They refused to give us an invoice and the 120 Euro we paid disappeared immediately in the guy's trouser pocket. I guess the Greek Tax Office will not be happy about that.
After our departure, to makes things even worse, they accused us via email not to have returned the key cards. Which of course we didn't.
The hotel appears to be nice, but it's too shady and somehow full of dishonesty from beginning to end.

We highly recommend the Downtown Hotel, located in the Old City and which can serve as a central departure point for restaurants, bars, the port, and more. Don't forget to give a warm greeting to the wonderful Sofia, who did everything possible to make our stay pleasant.
On the less good side, we must mention the shower, which is very small and water sprays everywhere.
Central location, clean rooms, elavator to upper floors. Most helpful and generous staff. Thank you for trying to find us a guide sophia.

Simplicity that becomes luxury.
We visited this lovely hotel 2 times during our trip to Greece.
It has the ideal location in the city of Nafplio, the room as well as all the areas were spotlessly clean, the communication was excellent from the moment of booking until our arrival (I was impressed as it is the first time an accommodation communicates so directly and warmly to confirm our reservation and various other relevant details)
What gave our stay the extra something was the staff, Sofia and Dimitra with their kindness, smile and suggestions regarding our stay!
A coffee and tea station at reception was a special touch to enjoy at all hours. We will definitely come back without hesitation. Thank you Sophia and Dimitra for making our stay unforgettable

Perfect location, very friendly and professional staff. I loved that they have a table ready where you can enjoy coffee and a little treat along with bottled water. I will certainly go back.
The location was great... down town. Next to lovely shops and restaurants. Sofia was very helpful. She provided us with all necessary information so as to check on our own during the night. Rooms were very clean and new.
One of the two rooms had an unpleasant smell.

Location was perfect. The property was very clean recently renovated. You could make yourself coffee or tea in foyer at any time. The staff were very helpful. The parking was close and easy access.
The water in the shower had a little trouble staying in the confines of the allocated space, but not the end of the world.
