Es waren schöne, entspannte und luxuriöse Tage :)
Pros:

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Wir wurden super herzlich empfangen und rundum gut versorgt. Außerdem waren die Betreiber sehr kinderfreundlich. Ganz besonders zu erwähnen ist der schöne Wellness-Bereich und die tolle Lage. Man ist ruckzuck an der Gondel und kann seinen Urlaub genießen.

Utrolig hyggeligt familie hotel, med den skønneste beliggenhed, tæt på kabelbane op til bjergtoppen hvor frokost er muligt og en masse andre aktiviteter. God morgenmads buffet og aftensmad. Byen ligger særdeles godt i forhold til mange oplevelser i og omkring Dorfgastein. Vi kommer gerne igen.

Location was not too far from chairlifts and next to a nice restaurant across the road.

Cons:

Be mindful when booking that it’s not exactly as advertised in the photos. The pool is not in the hotel or private. Is it a public swimming pool for the town you get access to only which is old and very busy. This needs to be specified and amended on the page not to mislead guests. The hotel has strict rules for instance if you want to eat breakfast, you need to tell them the day before, and the same for dinner you need to book in advance even as a hotel guest. It’s not very flexible. The room had a strange smell in the bedroom like sewage or could be from the kitchen exhaust. There are also extra cleaning charges the hotel enforces for check out that were not in the booking.com fees. Overall, not exactly as advertised and quite dated interiors in the room we stayed. Reception not very friendly.

Our three-day stay at Landhotel Untermüllnergut was hands down the best three days of our lives! From the spotless cleanliness to the warm, wonderful family staff and hosts, every single detail made us feel completely welcome. The room and bathroom were impeccable, featuring a breathtaking mountain view that was worth every single penny.
The surroundings are stunning, the sauna was fantastic, and the hotel is extraordinarily dog-friendly—our dog truly felt right at home.
The culinary experience deserves its own standing ovation. Breakfast was fantastic, featuring fresh, beautiful fruit presented with incredible care. Dinner is an absolute must. As a professional chef from Vienna, I can say with complete certainty that every single dish was homemade, crafted with immense heart, skill, and culinary wisdom. My wife had the fish, and I had the Schweinekoteletts—both main entrees were beautifully executed, and the Kartoffelkroketten were genuinely out of this world. From the soup all the way to the dessert, the food was simply "zum niederknien" (to die for).
Thank you to the fantastic host family for your unforgettable hospitality and for creating such a heartfelt sanctuary for us. We cannot wait to return!

Unser dreitägiger Aufenthalt im Landhotel Untermüllnergut gehört ohne Zweifel zu den schönsten drei Tagen unseres Lebens! Von der makellosen Sauberkeit bis hin zum fantastischen, herzlichen Familienteam und den wunderbaren Gastgebern hat einfach alles gestimmt. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren tadellos, und der atemberaubende Bergblick war jeden einzelnen Cent wert.
Die Umgebung ist traumhaft schön, der Saunabereich absolut gelungen und das Hotel ist extrem hundefreundlich – unser Hund hat sich sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt.
Ein ganz besonderes Lob verdient die Gastronomie. Das Frühstück war hervorragend, mit frischem, wunderschön angerichtetem Obst.(speck top!)
Das Abendessen ist ein absolutes Pflichtprogramm!

Super zuvorkommendes Personal, das auch auf "Extrawünsche" eingegangen ist: Immer freundlich und man fühlte sich sehr willkommen!
Das Frühstück ist außergewöhnlich gut und umfangreich, so gibt es das selten.
Wenn einem Wellness und Pool nicht wichtig sind, sollte man hier auf jeden Fall herkommen!

Cons:

Der Wellnessbereich hatte nur Mo-Mi geöffnet (wir reisten mittwochs an) und das Schwimmbad, zu dem man kostenfreien Zugang bekommt, ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen.

Dieses familiengeführte Hotel hat uns rundum begeistert. Die herzliche, familiäre Atmosphäre sorgt dafür, dass man sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen fühlt und nicht nur „eine Nummer“ ist. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und kümmert sich mit viel Engagement um die Gäste.
Besonders hervorzuheben sind die hervorragende Sauberkeit sowie die hochwertige, liebevoll gestaltete Einrichtung. Auch die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Das Hotel bietet zudem ein vielfältiges Angebot, sodass sowohl bei schönem Wetter als auch an regnerischen Tagen immer für Abwechslung gesorgt ist.
Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet – frisch, sehr lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet.
