Poor blackout blinds/curtains and a streetlamp outside is a bad combination and that's what I had.
Friendly staff, good location, cleanliness.
Booked a table for dinner as arriving around 9pm after a 5 hour drive, received acknowledgements confirming reservation. On arrival we were told the restaurant stops serving food at 8pm. Then found there was nowhere else to eat in St Asaph, so dinner ended up as whatever we could grab from the local Aldi. This was disappointing as we had passed so many places along the way that we could have stopped at for dinner.
The other issue was that the beds were, shall I say, sub-optimal in the comfort department.
On a positive note, the cooked breakfast was nice, the staff were all very pleasant and the room was clean. (I hate being too negative)!
Nice location
Being disturbed from 6am by noise from room upstairs
Great location. I wasn’t sure what to expect for the money but it was fantastic value. Great breakfast offering too.
Location was great for me as very convenient for Glan Clwyd hospital
Nothing
Nice room everything was working and it was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The breakfast, the food was ok but the actual dining room was not set up for breakfast it still had uncleared tables from the previous night . The member of staff was working alone trying to clear up, take orders and serve at the same time. She saved the day really.
Food was good I had dinner and breakfast.
It was well positioned for what we need, the evening meals were good, breakfast was very good in the morning.
