A great location with friendly staff and amenities.
Pros:

The location of Marita’s apartments could not be better.on the beach and yet private feeling accommodations. The apartment was very large and spacious.

Cons:

The apartment is a little dated, but would be expected for the value.

Liniste, mancare foarte buna in jur si 1 minut pana pe plaja.
Pros:

Locatia avea foarte multe restaurante si magazine pe langa, iar accesul la plaja era foarte rapid si direct. De asemenea, m-am bucurat si de accesul la piscina. Internetul a fost destul de bun, am avut mici momente cand a mers mai greu sau a avut intreruperi de 1 secunda. Personalul a fost foarte amabil si ne-au ajutat cu informatii locale sau alte servicii.

Cons:

Nu a fost nimic sa zic ca nu mi-a placut. Ce pot zice ca poate fi un pic imbunatatit, unele carsafuri si fete de perna mai aveau niste pete, erau spalate 100%, dar au mai fost pete persistente.

We stayed at Marita’s Apartments in Agia Marina for one month in September, and it truly felt like an unknown oasis. The location right on the beach is perfect — peaceful, beautiful, and convenient.

From the moment you arrive, the large private parking area takes away the stress of finding a spot, and the property is surrounded by mature trees, flowers, and greenery that create a relaxing atmosphere.

Our room was spacious, with a large balcony, and a kitchenette. The pool sits halfway between the buildings and the beach, always clean and well maintained — a lovely place to unwind.

Housekeeping came every day to clean the floors, empty the bins, and refresh our towels, which kept everything spotless. The staff works hard to keep the grounds and facilities well maintained, and everyone is friendly and helpful. Ellias is always around to answer any questions and make sure guests have what they need.

The beach area is also great, with a bar offering coffee and snack food — perfect for lazy beach days.

Overall, our stay was exactly what we were looking for: calm, comfort, and authentic Cretan hospitality. Highly recommend!

A great place. Very good staff and friendly Giorgios and very helpful receptionist Elias. If you need anything in the eye ask him, he will give you a big salad bowl or something extra. The rooms are cleaned and tidied every day, rubbish is thrown out of the bin in the kitchenette.and the bin in the bathroom. No toilet paper is thrown into the toilet bowl, only into the waste bin. Beautiful garden, palm trees, flowers and trees, lush vegetation, close to a beautiful safe and sandy beach my beloved place no. 1. Very nice staff, wonderful pool and paddling pool. Clean, quiet and safe. Spacious rooms, large bathrooms and a large balcony or terrace on the ground floor. I am in love with Maritas Apartment and with Agia Marina. I love.the cats And you can feed them in the large garden On the beach is very Pado Escobar And there are.very comfortable soft sun loungers right by the place and a toilet. The cost of 2 sun loungers and an umbrella is.6 euros the cheapest and most comfortable. The bar plays good classic rock and reggae. I recommend the keg beer, which is very good, as well as the coffee, pizza and club sandwich with chips. There is also good wine recommended o.place and the rustling of umbrellas.on the beach from the natural palm leaves growing in the garden.

Cons:

There are steps to enter the pool and unfortunately these steps have sharp edges and should be sanded down as they are dangerous to climb in and out of the pool, especially at the corners, and they need to be sanded down or a roller should be used to protect the sharp edge from injury.legs or feet
Then it will be perfect without any danger to the feet. We have spoken to the owner of the facility about this and he has promised to repair and grind the sharp edges of the steps as soon as the spectra in the large pool is drained for the winter. Grinding the sharp edges of the steps into the pool is necessary for safety
I am writing this because a friend's daughter cut her foot in the pool on these steps in August 2025 and blood was pouring from her leg. She was careful but the edges of the stairs are sharp and dangerous. Please improve these sharp edges of the pool steps. Then it will be perfect.

Pros:

Emplacement idéal tout près d'une magnifique plage, près des commerces et restaurants, arrêt de bus à proximité.
Les appartements sont situés en retrait de la route dans un très joli jardin.
On a beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse du personnel et de Giorgos.
