Everything was fantastic and everyone was very nice, would stay here again.
Pros:

It was a beautiful hotel, very comfortable and the food and drinks were delicious.

Cons:

I wish there were mini fridges in the rooms and/or vending machines (there may have been, but no one told me nor did I see any) for water bottles, soda, etc. I like to enjoy a cold beverage in my room after a day of sightseeing, and here the only option seemed to be going to the bar to get one. It’s not a huge deal and didn’t wreck the trip or anything, just would have been an extra nice convenience.

Apart from the disappointment of the room, it was good.
Cons:

The room when booked was classed as a "Superior room". It was adequate for our needs and the bed was comfortable. However, we would not have classed it as "superior" and it was not worth the extra money paid.

exquisite Sunday dining!
Pros:

Sunday carvery at storm Hotel is a wonderful experience. The quality of food is outstanding. Perhaps a little more expensive than other carries but well worth the money. Special appreciation must be to Robert and his team of waiters and – also polite and helpful. I look forward to returning very soon.

Best carvery in Northern Ireland
Pros:

We have just had the best carvery dining experience. After being to a few carvery lunches very recently, there is absolutely no comparison in value, flavour, or choice of food. The professionalism of all the staff has to be commended too. As we were warmly greeted and welcomed to our table, Ethan explained the details of the carvery to us. The choice of starters was excellent, followed by artisan bread selection and soup. We then met the chef, Brendan, who carved us delicious meats for our main course. The waiting staff, Robert, Josh and Evie, were all so pleasant and helpful, checking in if we needed anything and clearing our plates away. It honestly felt like every member of staff was happy to be at work today. I can’t remember the last time I noticed such excellent customer service.
The dessert table was something else. I can’t say enough good things about our dining experience today. I initially thought the price point of £40 per head was steep but when you see the quality, quantity and variety of the food available, I have had to change my opinion. There was a very generous attitude to the portions, it really is a genuine all you can eat buffet.
Well done 👏
I’m away to lie down.

Great location.
Pros:

Location. Executive room was fabulous.

Cons:

The cold draught running through the foyer and bar area from the ballroom/side revolving door area in evenings. Despite having a fire lit.

Fabulous
Pros:

The hotel was lovely but the best part of the hotel for me was the manager Arron. He was the kindest and nicest person I’ve ever come across. We checked out at 6am and missed our flight and he allowed us come back and rest till next one. A manager like that should be totally looked after by the company as people like him hard to find.

First class service in the Stormont.
Pros:

Robert's service today was exceptional. He went the 2nd and 3rd mile today to look after me. And that was very much appreciated. Look after this man. You have someone that gets ands excels in hospitality and customer service.

Awful service at Stormont Hotel.
Pros:

Just returned home from a visit to the fourcstar Stormont Hotel, Belfast. We wanted coffeecand scones which are served in the expansive foyer area. The order was for two americanos, a Flat White, and two home made scones.
The coffees arrived first, and some of the flat white had spilled over onto the saucer. I requested some napkins to deal with that. The waiter then returned with the scones. On the side plate with each scone there was a napkin which we were told could be used to wipe up the spillage! I then firmly but politely requested extra napkins. We then had to request the butter, jam and sugar. The small pats of wrapped butter were placed straight onto the table, they were not on a small butter dish. At this stage our coffees had cooled considerably. Not surprising as the entire foyer area was cold.
The total cost for two scones, two americanos , and a flat white was, with a 10% discretionary charge which they add to the bill, was £28.05.
We had taken an elderly aunt (88yo) for a small treat having just visited her husband in a nursing home. The Stormont Hotel met none of our expectations.
Our expectations from a four star establishment is trained staff, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and not four visits to our table with a very small order.
All of us know of town and city pubs, and cafeterias where there is a much higher standard of service . My advice is to head in that direction. It will be warmer, staff will be trained, and you won't feel like Robin Hood has just passed by!

Stay and a Show!
Pros:

We had an absolute amazing experience with the Stormont hotel and in particular, Phillip the manager at front reception. I made an error (totally my fault) with our booking. Phillip resolved the error with no fuss. Nothing was too much trouble for him. In fact all of the staff we dealt with in the hotel were great........no complaints at all. Breakfast staff were great. The hotel is clean, luxurious and the reception/lounge area has a lovely, calm ambience. Will definitely by back.
