This July, our family drove from Toronto, Canada, for our son's baseball tournament, and from the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with outstanding customer service.
Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and we appreciated having an easily accessible parking garage. One of the biggest surprises was how much there was to do in the lobby. Our son's baseball team spent hours playing pool, shuffleboard, and the board games provided. It was the perfect gathering place for a group of teenagers, keeping them entertained between games. There was always plenty of seating, and the staff graciously allowed us to make the space our home away from home throughout the week.
The complimentary breakfast exceeded our expectations every morning. There was a wonderful variety of hot dishes, cereals, breads, pastries, fresh fruit, and more; something for everyone. My personal favourites were the delicious pepper and cheese omelets and the maple walnut pastries! I also loved that the coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruit, and lemon water were available throughout the day, not just during breakfast.
The absolute highlight of our stay, however, was an unforgettable birthday surprise.
Without my knowledge, my husband worked together with the front desk staff—Erica, Shannon, and Terrance—to organize the sweetest birthday celebration. While I was exploring downtown Nashville with some of the other baseball moms, they gathered everyone in the lobby in anticipation of my return.
As I walked through the front doors, approximately 40 people: our baseball families, the boys, hotel staff, players from other American teams, and even guests who had just checked in—began singing "Happy Birthday." My husband greeted me with a beautiful birthday cake, complete with lit candles. I was completely surprised, incredibly touched, and honestly speechless.
It was one of those moments that I'll cherish forever, and it simply wouldn't have happened without the kindness and enthusiasm of Erica, Shannon, Terrance, and the entire hotel staff. Thank you all for going above and beyond to make my birthday so incredibly special.
Canadians are often said to be known for their friendliness, but during our week in Tennessee, we experienced genuine warmth, kindness, hospitality, and Southern charm everywhere we went. The people we met: especially the staff at this hotel, made us feel truly welcome.
If you're looking for a hotel with excellent amenities, outstanding customer service, and staff who genuinely care about their guests, look no further. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nashville.
Thank you for making our family's trip, and my birthday, so unforgettable! ❤️🇨🇦🤠
They had a great breakfast each morning. Clean rooms. Friendly staff
I did not know you had to ask for room service. That would have been good to know when I checked in.
The location is right down the street from Broadway there were several food trucks right outside of the hotel from you to choose from
Everything was excellent
The location was good as it was in walking distance of all major attractions. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was good and there were plenty of food options available. We like that the facility had its own parking garage.
There was some confusion regarding Tru2 and Home2 suites, and we feel there needs to be better distinction between the two accommodations; the Tru2 seems more minimalist. Upon our arrival, the TV in our room was not working, and an associate had to come to our room to reprogram the entire system, which took quite a while; there was one wash cloth in the room although there was two of us, and no hand soap and we had to call the front desk for each; the elevators were very slow; We inquired as to why our room was not cleaned and were told it was because of COVID, which ended in 2023!! We were then told they would put a note that our room would receive light cleaning every day, but that didn't happen and we had to take our own trash out. The light cleaning did not commence until we expressed our dissatisfaction the next day; Also, the shower door would not close fully; there was no writing utensils or writing pads in the room; and we really didn't like that there was no closet or microwave in the room. Garage parking was a bit pricey.
Tout
Nous avons du demander des refill de savon et de papier de toilette à 2 reprises.
We were in the heart of the city by the events we attended. Getting a lift or an uber was easy. Not a big pool and elevators we had to wait for.... hotel used by alot of people.
Elevators and very little space outside associated with the hotel... but we were busy
Everything . Perfect location. Nice and friendly staff. Clean and breakfast was better than any hotel breakfast I’ve had in a while.
No complaints
Convenient to Broadway, the staff was wonderful,
Breakfast was good, location was great.
Liked everything.
Close to everything on Broadway. Breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel!
Pillows were terrible!
Property was clean games in the lobby were great. Staff was friendly.
There were quite a few homeless people outside. I know that’s obviously not something. The hotel can deal with, but it was noticeable.
