Todo bien
Service was amazing, everyone is nice. Great price and location. Breakfast was good.
Hotel is older but the room was big. Bathroom had flies and the room smelled a bit but for price it was good.
Thanks to the evening shift team Chef Mohamed, reception, Ahmed Malik, maintenance, Mazen, for their wonderful service and style from
Also the morning shift, Abdullah, for his follow-up of delegations regarding flight times and service, his ease of dealing, and his tact in dealing.

Nice
Where do I begin: Pluses: the hotel has many shops nearby and the restaurant is nicely decorated. The hotel has 2 small elevators (limited to 4 people WITHOUT luggage). The staff are friendly if they understand you. The Breakfast is adequate.
Negatives: Hotel did not provide us with drinking water bottles for 2 days, there were cups and no coat hangers but it did have a leaking toilet. There is no swimming pool and the famous Rainbow St (full of shops and restaurants) is more than 3 km away (40 minute walk up and down many, many stairs).
Pictures are better than the reality. This hotel has spent some money making the shared areas (lobby, dining room, etc.) look modern and up to date. The rooms are very large and the beds are comfortable and the AC and WiFi are good. With that said, the rooms do need an upgrade. The rugs are worn/stained. The walls need a fresh coat of paint. The rooms just look dirty. The location is excellent. Plenty of places to get a quick bite to eat and pick up items for your trip. The staff is nice and try to meet your needs. Just needs a little sprucing up to be truly considered a 4 star facility.
Great hotel but a little pricey.
Dirty room the hotel management overbooked causing my sister to lose her booking
Good
The Hotel is centrally located in downtown Amman. While it is a little aged, the rooms are comfortable. They offer great breakfast buffet. Hotel arranged private airport transportation (of course with a fee) for arrival and departure.
As part of a tour, we stayed at the Sandy Palace Hotel for 3 nights. 3 of the worst nights spent in a hotel anywhere on my travels. The place needs a total refit. Our room (the 3rd one after complaining about the first 2) wasn’t tired, it was totally exhausted. The carpet was ripped in place with tape trying to keep it down. The shower - yuk. The shower head was completely rusted, totally unusable, luckily there was a hand shower too. The towels & bedding were thoroughly threadbare & grey, I have thrown out better. The door locks were faulty, my friend got stuck in the bathroom & I had to get maintenance up to get her out. This appeared to be a bit of a theme with other people on our tour, a few had to get maintenance to either let them in or out of their rooms. Our dinner on the first night, granted our coach got us there late, was just a few chicken pieces, dry boiled rice & some kind of wet minced meat dish. There were vegetarians in our party who only got to eat the rice!! The following evening was great, they gave us a buffet meal which was excellent, still a little lacking for the vegetarians but in a whole, excellent. There were a lot of other guests that night too. Our final night’s dinner, was back to the chicken pieces, boiled rice & minced meat dish. Someone went out shopping for fruit for our dessert. If this hotel stays in business, especially for westerners, they are going to be VERY disappointed. Had we not been part of a tour group, we would NOT have stayed in this hotel.
This place should be named the Sandy Dump rather than the Sandy Palace. There’s no palace in this hotel. The bed isn’t terribly uncomfortable but it is basically a mattress on the ground so those with mobility issues will find it hard to get in and out of bed.
The bathroom is as basic as one can find. The hotel lacks bathmats, hand towels and washcloths. We were issued just two bath towels and had to use one as a bathmat to prevent us from falling while exiting the shower on to the extremely slippery tile floor. The glass partition for the shower is MUCH too small so the entire bathroom would get wet while showering and we had nothing to use to dry up the water.
If you’re not a smoker, this place will kill you. We had smoke coming into our room through the vents and it was awful. The hallway and lobby had clouds of smoke which made it hard for me and my 9 year old to breathe. Our room was overlooking a very busy street so we couldn’t open the window for fresh air either. The hotel was also VERY loud! Jordanians are loud talkers and sound carriers in the hallways. Between the smoke and the talking, it was VERY hard to get any sleep there.
The food situation was also unacceptable. If stew and falafel for breakfast isn’t your thing, you might starve. The kitchen was able to find some strawberries for me to eat, but it was harder to feed my daughter. She was stuck eating plain bread everyday.
Americans will really struggle to find anything worth eating here in the morning.
If you can, pay more and stay elsewhere!!
Le petit déjeuner laisse à désirer. La propreté compense la vétusté de cet hotel.
I was not satisfied with my stay here. The staff was hungry for money. They weren’t honest with how much I was supposed to pay and gave me a different room from the one I chose during reservation. Horrible.
Hotel pluses-hot water, great bed, excellent dining room manager, I felt safe.
Room for improvement-It would benefit from- a bath mat, facecloth, **coffee in room, chef at omelet station, more information on hotel services and area. Overall, solid 3 star (not 4). For a foreign country a decent choice.
Best location for shopping
Descibed as a 4* star but even in Jordan I think that's generous.
While the room was clean and the bed ok, the windows in our room had gaps all along the bottom so it was drafty and noisy especially as this hotel is on a busy road.
Breakfast is a farce with nothing very fresh. They ran out of bread and coffee!
The hotel is not in a great location for eating out. We only found one restauarant locally. Shame as about a 10 minute drive away as a bustly metropolis.
If you can, stay somewhere else.
I must say it was horrible. The door doesn't have a lock so I put my suitcase and a chair on the door, hairdryer wasn't working, the bathroom wasn't very clean and the room has a smell of old and mold. The window was broken, the shower door was broken, I was connected to the next room by the door and could hear everything ffom the couple that was in. Breakfast was bad, cold omelet, i have to ask for coffee because everything was empty. The staff was friendly but didn't seem to care. Location is out of the way. Just not good at all.
Positives: Good location. Ample breakfast variety. Mouth watering buffet dinner. High speed Wi-Fi.
Big size rooms
Too many shops around including money exchange.
Negatives:
Not very clean
Some door locks were not working
Safe locker did not work
I’d still recommend it due to excellent vicinity.
