We had the Buffet and it was great !!
There wasn;t anything we didn;t like .
The hotel staff, especially the front desk and restaurant staff are really wonderful, and very kind.
Heater had issues, and despite a visit by the maintenance staff, wasn't solved.
Buffet breakfast has very limited options, and very low quality.
The coffee served at the hotel is really poor quality.
The location and the professional efficiency of all staff.
All exceeded expectations.
Practical downtown location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Spotless clean room. The main bed was comfortable and the shower was good.
Breakfast was poor. The soundproofing of windows was very poor. The traffic noise was considerable; not a problem for us, but undoubtedly it may be for someone else. We had booked the room for three adults, but in arrival the extra (sofa) bed was not prepared. Not even the bed linen brought in the room, they had to be asked from the reception. The extra bed was uncomfortable (as they are almost everywhere).
This hotel has been renovated quite nicely however the clientele is sometimes displaced folks who are living there and that can make for a bit different of an environment. This is not a great part of town so if you will have an issue with that you probably shouldn’t stay here. So just go in knowing that that’s the scenario and you’ll be fine. The rooms are very nice.
This was a very bad experience i won't not be recommending someone or anyone here
Everything
Shampoo, lotion and other toiletries are available
The location in downtown winnipeg was great for walking distance to the canada life center. Easy to get anywhere by car from here.
The elevators wre super slow, but they said they are replacing them. Parking was OK, but the door from the parade to the hotel is locked at 6pm, so you have to walk through the parade down to the street to get back to the hotel.
Freindly staff and clean room.
Nothing bad happened but didn't feel so safe.
Long wait for elevator
I liked the people to talk to at night when going for a walk. Interesting people that had to leave their homes behind because of a fire.
The elevators where the worst I have ever seen. Smelled of crack (sweet smell) in the hallways (people from the rez). The restaurant sucked as well.... and the pool closed two days and my kids had nothing to do....
Great job
The room was comfortable and a good size, the staff are really friendly and can't do enough to help/ rectify issues. Staff are really helpful. The bar facilties are good. Good location.
I booked as the hotel had a pool (I contacted the hotel in advance to check it was open)- the pool was shut. I had to wait 50 minutes for dinner (only person in the restuarant)- but the waitress did give me a complimentary drink to make up for it.
It is a good hotel, the staff are doing their best to make it a good stay and how they made up for issues (booking errors, room issues, food delay) was incredible and they couldn't do enough (upgraded room complimentary dinner- great customer service!)- just a shame that there were issues in the first place. Definitely check your booking that the room given is the room booked.
Gemma Fernandez and the desk staff were helpful and kind!
