Pros:

Hotel being right near universal studios and convenience to get to Halloween Horror Nights.

Cons:

Sofa bed pullout couch was very uncomfortable, staff not being able to provide a comforter or extra pillows during night and ahead of sleep leaving me not the most comfortable at all and a springy bed in the couch.

Over all it was an ok stay.
Pros:

Over all it was an okay stay. I loved that there were two queens beds, the coffee pot was much appreciated. I loved that there was a lock reinforcement on the door. I loved the black out curtains. Towels and wash clothes were fully stocked. I think next time though I need a hotel with a tram that runs the whole event and plan back up money to cover any mishaps that happen.

Cons:

The shuttle didn’t accommodate for universals HHN event so we had to walk in boots over to universal and back at 3 am in dark areas.
The WiFi gave me so much trouble to sign into. The coffee pot had a start button but no stop button so it overflowed my cup and I had to unplug it to get it to stop dispensing.
My nephew had to kill a large roach on the wall. And there was an awful start when I arrived asking me to pay when I had already been charged for the ru room and it was pending holding the funds in my account, however, she assured me it will be refunded. The problem was the money I had for the room was being held up by that attempted charge.

The AC was down, the room had landlord special, the hotel seemed overall run down and dirty. Very loud construction right next to our room, woke up to banging very early at 8am.

Very quiet and comfortable family units - staff were great!
Pros:

Great room options for family of 5 - we added an extra night in with a different room option and staff were great at getting us in early with our luggage, very accommodating! Great wee shop and cafe onsite as well as restaurant next door. Rooms were great and very comfortable! Pool was perfect and great location to the theme park across the road with free shuttle.

Disturbed night sleep, bad Service

Close to Universal

Cons:

The stay was unsatisfactory- for a newly renovator hotel drying machinery in the lobby is not acceptable. One of our rooms (318) smelled, but worse was the sudden fire “de”-alarm (twice) at 2 in the morning and an alarm at 7:23 in the morning which was stopped but not cancelled after 30 sec. This is unacceptable in both cases: a real alarm would have to be officially cancelled or a false alarm would have had to be announced. You cannot excuse this with “our safety”. Our safety was not taken care of, as nobody made sure we evacuated the hotel or informed us otherwise…. when I asked at checkout for some kind of refund or at least free parking, I was told, that this was not possible…
