The room smelled bad, the screen door fell off when we opened it. The room

The rooms are old and in need of updating. Reception is clean, bistro is all right. Waitress in bistro is friendly and helpful. Room 108 smells like it flooded. Asked to be moved. Location is not in nice area, surrounded by car dealerships and homeless sleeping all around it. Cannot recommend

We had an amazing stay for the 4th of July weekend.
The hotel was clean, the staff super friendly and professional. The hotel had special little things in the lobby. My kids loved the 4th of July cup cakes and treats, and I loved the mimosas the next morning. I want to make a special shout out to Dru, Charisma and the rest of the staff! These people made the stay even better. We will definitely be back. Thank you all

This was our 1st stay in the Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach Courtyard and we liked it particularly the fantastic pool setup. The pool is surrounded by the property, in effect like a little courtyard with attractive landscaping, palms, chairs, umbrellas, towels etc. Our king room was nice with a great shower, and we had a patio door right to our car for loading and unloading. Check in and out was ultra efficient, the ice machine was good, and they had a nice lobby with a small restaurant and bar, yet with their limited hours neither were open when we checked in. The only thing missing was a continental breakfast that is offered in some of Marriott's other properties, like Town Place Suites where we will be staying when we are back in July. As far as all the recent negative reviews there were some nicks and dings we noticed also. A lot of these you expect to see in lower or more moderate hotels but some clientele are just rough and don't know how to take care of things no matter where they stay. We would definitely return again if the price points were favorable.
