Location and it was beautiful
The elevators were very frustrating. My husband and I waited 15 minutes each time and opted for the stairs the majority of the time. We were in the 6th floor.
The entire place was beautiful! Clean 100%. Super comfortable and the person that checked us in gave us a free upgrade!
The price of $23 for room service Mac n cheese meal.
Location, nostalgia, staff extremely accommodating,
Everyone was kind
Pillows are terrible
Close to everything, clean, staff was great
The bathrooms were tiny and difficult to maneuver
Excellent restaurant and pub. Staff were absolutely the best.
WiFi didn’t work for either of us even after reporting
When showering water leaked onto the floor
The location was perfect and the history of the hotel made the stay! Everyone was friendly and helpful! The hotel was beautiful and close to many restaurants and things to do. Walking is the best way to see things nearby! We really loved the Bell In Hand Tavern, great food and atmosphere and historical! A short 7 minute walk from the hotel! The Last Hurrah bar in the hotel was lovely, enjoyed a couple delicious martinis and enjoyed the best Boston Crème Pie I’ve had!
For our room the bed was really cramped and I could barely walk to the other side of the bed. Had to haul my suitcase over the bed to the other side to make room. Not a huge deal but would say that was the only inconvenience!
Your receptionist, Mali, was a delight. She made us feel so welcome - as did all your staff. We had just disembarked a cruise ship, so we were very early for our reservation. Not a problem for the staff at all. Kudos!
The location was great, right in the middle of the city. It is also a historic hotel, which is always a plus. The staff was also very friendly. The room was also clean, if small. That's really all the good things I have to say about it.
The room was very small; we had just come in on a cruise, and our cruise ship cabin was larger than this room. The worst part was that there was only a single window in the room, and it looked straight at a brick wall 5 feet away. Felt more like we were staying in a broom closet than a luxury hotel. The room was also very far away and only accessible by climbing a set of stairs after taking the elevator. The front door of the hotel was also locked at night for some reason, and we were forced to walk around to a side entrance just to get in.
