Sehr gutes Hotel um Auckland zu erkunden (ist sogar in Fussdistanz) möglich.
Pros:

Es war alles gut.

Cons:

Sehr unfreundliche Rezeptionspersonal. Wir hatten um ein ruhiges Zimmer gebeten und als wir zum Zimmer kamen (wir haben zum frühesten Einchecktermin eingecheckt) war es das Zimmer unmittelbar neben der Waschmaschninen- und Trocknerbereich des Hotels. Als ich dann freundlich nachgefragt habe um ein anderes Zimmer wurde ich erneut angezickt.

Pros:

Comfortable warm nicely set out.

Cons:

No milk in fridge, the dispensers in the shower were empty. I think climbing the stairs is a hazard. I have stayed before and the room was fab, feel like i got a standby room this time.

Overcharged and NOT resolved. I do not recommend.
Pros:

The location was convenient for my plans.

Cons:

Overcharge!
Poor communication from staff and no action taken to correct an overcharge, despite clear instructions being given.

Would stay again and recommend to colleagues and friends
Cons:

There were no safety hand grabrails in the shower stall.
Main room overhead light illumination was poor. Bedside lights threw some light to where the suitcase was stored on its shelf.
Breakfasts were tasty and had a very good variety of choice of yoghurt, fruit (fresh and tinned), breads, butter, spreads, breakfast sausages, salami, cheese and scrambled eggs. Would suggest a second electric toaster. Served coffee was bitter.

Great location, very close to city centre, great modern bathroom.
Pros:

Bed was either too soft or worn, you can feel the cross bars when sleeping.

Great option, better value than most
Pros:

Rose Garden has always been a great budget stop. Good location, quiet (except when some conferences are in) and now it's been fully renovated, even better.
Rooms are...roomy, much larger than most in the same price bracket in Auck.

Cons:

Unfortunately, having stayed twice post-renovation in two different rooms, the new beds are way too hard for me. I won't be staying again which I am genuinely sad about as in every other way it suited me perfectly.
I like a firm bed, but these are next level. Probably great if you don't have a bad hip and back (I'm a chunky 62yo).
If the firm bed if fine for you, I very much recommend this hotel for the money, roomy, good location, nice staff.

Friendly helpful staff, great location, will stay again
Pros:

Great price, location was perfect and beds were comfortable. Staff at reception were very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

The room smelt very musty, I assume there had been water damage at some stage.

Be careful of additional charges
Pros:

Clean and tidy. Units are nice and a good location.

Cons:

Change of management and had an additional charge which was supposed to be refunded when we checked out but I’m still waiting. The restaurant is only open certain hours now too. We have stayed here a number of times but unfortunately won’t be back.
