I honestly had a terrible night. There was constant noise from people walking back and forth in the corridor from 11:00 PM until I left at 7:00 AM, without a single moment of peace.
On top of that, there were around 50 guests who needed transportation to the airport, but the hotel only provided one car, which had to make several trips back and forth based on priority. This created additional waiting and inconvenience for the guests.
Unfortunately, considering the lack of quiet during the night and the poor organization of the airport transportation, I cannot recommend this place.

The wardrobe door was not adequately fixed it almost fell on my 2 year old son
I used the valet service to be met at the airport after 32 hours of flight. It was excellent, quickly assisted me through immigration and bag retrieval, delivered to the very close by hotel. The room was well priced and the breakfast excellent with plenty of vegetarian options. I would definitely recommend the hotel.

Thw location within 10 min from the building of the airport is extremely convenient for those who travel to cairo for an overnight stay, but even for more I guess. The transportation service to and from the airport, around the clock and free of charge really makes the difference to me
Everything lookes polish and clean, the buffet at the breakfast was everything one could ask for and the bed was really comfortable.
All the people working there were happy to assist very polite and warm.
Shuttle goes every 30min and it takes about 10min to get to the airport
After a month in Egypt, I feel like the place is good, the customer experience is average. I saw the head concierge arguing with a guest, other staff yelling, I had to bargain to get things done, push to have service… if I was to look at it only on that perspective, I would say it was bad. However, I had a similar experience everywhere in Egypt I went (from the entrance to the airport, to the departure gate when leaving), so I now believe this is normal in Egypt. (Don’t get me wrong; during my visit to the country I also stayed at another hotel where people where smiley and service was world-class; that’s why I say Novotel was average (or in line with the norm of the region)).
