Pros:

Amazing location amazing staff upgraded us for free as it was our anniversary and put balloons and flowers there for us which was a nice touch

Lovely except the cleanliness of room
Pros:

Location was excellent

Cons:

Room needed cleaning, very dusty, bathroom mould, plug hole in sink was filthy, dirty windows, very dirty by bedside cabinets, water pressure on sink was very slow, stains on carpets. In need of a deep clean.

Will never stay here again very disappointed

The location was ok.

Cons:

We will not be staying here again. We have stayed in many lively city hotels but have never stayed somewhere so loud and noisy. The room was dated we upgraded to a deluxe room but it wasn’t deluxe. There was mould all in the shower a dirty toilet. I will also say the security of the hotel was shocking anyone can walk into the hotel because the doors are never locked at night. I went downstairs in the early hours and the front door was open there were a group of people who were not staying in the hotel just walking around I was spoken to quite inappropriately by one. Every hotel I have stayed in before have always locked the doors or you needed your key card to get in. This is a concern.
We stayed for 2 nights and had absolutely no sleep.
The staff never even asked if we enjoyed our stay or goodbye which is the basics of front of house staff.

Pros:

Lovely hotel right in the middle of Chester.
Very clean and the beds are very comfortable.
Excellent breakfast at a reasonable price.
Nothing to much trouble for the staff.
Ironing board , ironing and hairdryer in the room along with tea making facilities.

Lovely traditional hotel in the centre of the city
Pros:

Lovely traditional hotel in the centre of the city close to loads of shops , bars and restaurant. The staff were so lovely & went the extra mile making our anniversary stay one to remember.Breakfast was delicious, we had full English .

breakfast was very very good first room was not good but the staff moved us to a upgrade room staff are very very good and helpful so we will be going back to this hotel every time we stay in Chester
