Firstly, I stayed here when I was 16 years old and loved it! Second, it brought me back due to location and how exceptional the staff and rooms are!
The location is spectacular, everything is close by within walking distance. Disney, universal & waterparks! The beach is an hour away. The staff was so kind to my daughter as this was her birthday trip!
Upon arrival, we discovered they had no room available, even though we had booked three days in advance, so they re-accommodated us at another hotel in the chain, the Rosen Plaza.
There was a lack of communication between the hotels; we were rebooked at the Rosen Plaza, but upon arrival, they said they had no record of the rebooking. Instead of the Rosen Plaza calling the Rosen Pointe, I had to go back to the Rosen Pointe to sort it out before returning to the Rosen Plaza to check in.
Both the Rosen Pointe and the Rosen Plaza charge extra for parking: $10 at the Rosen Pointe and $30 at the Rosen Plaza (per day).
Location of fridge and microwave shared in the bathroom area.
Ive been coming to this hotel for many years with family and nothing has changed, well its changed but not for the better.
Location is great i cant fault that, we were only staying for 1 night this timeand tobe honest having a room on the ground floor was not great.
My neighbours were english and smoking like chimneys jusging by the fag pile outside the door and the wonderful aroma of weed in the air.
I would have thought the room may have changed but since my first visit in 1993 the room is exactly the same as it was then, i hope to god they changed the mattresses.
It needs a major make over and money spending on it, it is no longer a 3 stsr , more like a 2 star.
Nothing wrong with the grounds but sort out the rooms, the dated lobby and lower your prices cause down the road they are $ 40 per night cheaper and better.
Its such a shame as i have very fond memories of my first time in Orlando because of this hotel.
Do t let her rot, do something i stead of sitting back and tzking thr money
