Restaurant waitresses disrespecting children. They don’t treat them the same as they treat adults and gives dirty looks. Although the food isn’t not that bad. Rooms are small but are good quality. There is also a good quality wifi in the reception but no wifi in the rooms.
Not pratical comfortable room. Old but average clean. View mountains from balcony was exceptional makes your stay worth.
This mountain hotel with gorgeous views needs a lot of attention. The standard is very low, the service is very poor and the food is TERRIBLE. The fireplace in the large living room is beautiful as is the view, reduced however by the blaring television. The hotel must either improve or lose a star.
the location of the hotel is overlooking the whole forest , a very beautiful sight .
a cozy quiet calm place . the sttuff are very friendly . the food is convenient and tasty .
there's a nice pool, nice moorish bath.
in conclusion:
its a perfect place to relax and just get away of life's hustle and bustle.
Yes, it is not the most modern. But unlike any other hotel I have stayed in in Tunisia outside of Tunis, this one actually has heat, hot water, functioning plumbing, towels, TP, soap, .... As such it is a pleasure. Besides these basics that one may otherwise take for granted, the staff is extremely friendly, the wifi works fairly well even in your room, the buffet meals are quite convenient and sufficient, and the balcony with mountain and starry night views is a lovely touch. I would happily enjoy the roaring fireplace in the lobby if only there were less smokers. The only drawback I can see is that the town is so far from anything that it takes forever to get to the hotel. But once you do, you will want to stay a while, if only to recover from the drive or from other hotels in Tunisia.
The location of the hotel is overlooking the forest of Ain Drahem .
Panoramic views from the balconies and the lobby big terrace.
Big chimney. Good heating system in winter.
It needs some renovations of old widows.
Cleanliness is ok and staff are friendly.
Breakfast is average. However , variety of vegetables and meat is always available.
A beautiful hotel in a beautiful place .
Almost everything was not on the level for 4star hotel.
Old furniture, old TV with small choice of channels, small rooms 2.5*2.5m, no fan and shampoo, sometimes no hot water. Be aware - location - 24 kms from Tabarka and the beach - to go there 40 min by mountain road. Breakfasts - similar every day and cheap coffee-like liquid, dinners - many dishes are of cheap ingredients, just mutton was good. Only biscuits for dessert. Drinks for separate pay, as usual. Towels and linen change - once per week if not asked for. There was garbage in corridor.
Swimming pool - big one, but water was cold. Hammam did not work.
The only good impression - view on the mountains from the balcony.
This hotel is located in a beautiful location. The rooms are old and need updating. The food was decent however as is common in Tunisia, the breakfast was poor. The staff were very nice and accommodating. Lots of smoking in the lobby and areas for relaxing. Just like the title of my review says-- nice, but nothing special.
This is a modern hotel, set in a pine forest, on top of the mountain overlooking Tabarka Bay. Good service. The rooms are quite decent. In winter, the heating system is good. Each room has a little balcony to enjoy the view and the mountain fresh air.
Food is all right there. Breakfast is of poor quality - as it is often the case in Tunisia! The service at the restaurant was not as good as in the rest of the hotel.
The lounge is a great place to rest. In winter, they light the fireplace so it adds to the charm of this mountain resort.
This was a delighful hotel in a wonderful, peaceful location, set in a forest and yet a good base to explore the coast or touriste sites in the north of Tunisia.
All the staff were fantastic, very friendly, helpful and efficient, The room was large and cleaned daily. The food was good and the restuarant service was very good. If you are travelling around the North of Tunisia this is definitly worth a few days stop. We had a wonderful peaceful stay.
