disappointing: unhelpful reception staff, arbitrary guest restrictions, and noisy surroundings

We chose this hotel as our base for two nights to attend a wedding. The reception staff was not helpful at all to say the least. My wife had arranged for a professional stylist, which was not allowed to enter the hotel. Afterwards, a friend wanted to quickly visit us, also not allowed to come up to our room (a suite) for a couple of hours before the wedding, as this was supposedly against hotel policies. They tried to charge us an extra room in order to "allow" the friend to enter. Evidently we denied the offer. This is nowhere stated in the hotel policy available on Booking though.
These strict rules apparently do not apply to the numerous prostitutes we´ve seen and heard on the property. Yes, the rooms are quite noisy...

Buena opción si tienes un vuelo temprano al estar cerca del aeropuerto
Pros:

Excelente ubicación y muy cerca del Aeropuerto José María Córdova. Todo el personal del hotel fue siempre muy amable, desde recepción hasta las chicas de la limpieza o el joven de la piscina y por supuesto la amabilidad del personal del restaurante durante el desayuno. El desayuno muy típico antioqueño y variado. El clima de Rionegro como siempre muy agradable. Pudimos estar por la tarde un rato en la piscina.

Cons:

El baño es un poco estrecho, sobre todo el espacio entre el WC y la ducha.

Muy buena ubicación y el personal muy amable. Nos ayudaron buscando un transporte a altas horas de la noche para recogernos en un evento al que asistimos.

Cons:

Un poco desordenado el bufet del desayuno, bajamos a desayunar a las 9.30am y ya no había muchas opciones. La comida se acaba y no surten los contenedores nuevamente.
Encontramos muchos regueros, en algunas estaciones no se encontraban utensilios para servir, no había personal pendiente para acomodar nuevamente el desorden que hacen las personas cuando se sirven.
